Luton have been promoted to the Prem with a terrible low capacity stadium. But they've got plans to move to a new stadium, interestingly it looks to be in the middle of nowhere, a bit like the Uwe would have been! Luton have had new stadium plans for decades but they have reached the Prem with a terrible stadium. |

We were lucky to get a ground then in that urban sprawl I have never seen a photo of Eastville at that time 1896 cameras were hardly around Local newspapers had lined drawings so you must be making that up. Eastville had a thriving GWR railway station literally 300 metres from the Football ground. I’d say Luton’s new stadium was just the other side of the main town square. I used to live in a house overlooking where the new stadium will be for Luton. It’s right next to the train station, not exactly the town centre, but very close to it. A few houses nearby but not enough to kick off a storm. There’s many similarities with Luton new stadium site and our own imo. |

I’d say Luton’s new stadium was just the other side of the main town square. I used to live in a house overlooking where the new stadium will be for Luton. It’s right next to the train station, not exactly the town centre, but very close to it. A few houses nearby but not enough to kick off a storm. There’s many similarities with Luton new stadium site and our own imo. Just going on this YouTube upload where it looks like the ground is being built on a site that appears as a massive wasteland at present As you say the FM would probably look the same if work ever starts on the stadium. |
