Lots of neg around JB, some people can’t get over it. The only issue I have is that they never admit that they are wrong, if JB gets top 10 this year he will be the more successful that Holly and DC which will really put noses out of joint. Assuming you mean Ollie we finished 5th & 7th in L2 (now L1) in two out of three seasons he was in charge, I guess you haven't been following Rovers that long? Only really promotion, or least a play off final appearance, will put him ahead of Ollie. Didnt we finish a disappointing 17th (ish) in Ollies first season after some good success under john Ward. ? |

Here’s a question someone will know the answer to. Conor was immense for us in L2. This is L1 and it’s a much more competitive league with strikers with a ton more nous. Connolly was amazing at L2 level but struggled to adjust.
Conor played 15 times for stoke but I wonder how he did at a higher level. Luke McC is a good example of players not finding the same form, I hope to God this isn’t the path for conor

Will he start today or be on the bench? I’m not sure whether he will have taken part in enough training sessions to start although if I were JB I’d start him.

Can't see him starting today and i agree that although i am delighted the lad is back with us those who add a note of caution are right to do so. The Ryan Sweeny example quoted elsewhere is a case in point, even our own Alfie looked the next Beckenbauer at one time, anyway enough of this negativity, come on Connor get out there and dispel all the doubts!!

I missed the majority of the game as I was doing over things but saw his goal saving block at the death, the sky commentators seemed to be raving about how good he had been. That's my own fault for listening to any sky commentators. |

I was surprised that he went for as much as he did though. £2 million at this stage of his career, is a lot. He's going to be 23 in January and hadn't played a game in the championship yet. |
