Amuses me when fans can’t see his attributes. He’s a better player currently than Taylor . I can see his attributes, I think he’s a decent player. That doesn’t mean I think he’s worth 2m or more than Taylor - imo What about £1.7m more?  |

I have to say, I was very impressed with both central defenders yesterday. Connor was back to his best, and one tackle when he dispossessed Devante Cole (I think) just in front of the dugout was one of the best pieces of defending I've seen for a long while.

Cov mate said that BT was skinned for the Leicester equaliser today and not impressed. Early days I know but £2m??? Cov fans on their forum seem impressed with him despite the error for the goal. BT looked a much better player at Barnsley than he did here. BT was playing alongside Andersen who joined Luton for £3m in the summer and Coventry have also just bid £2.5m for Barnsley's Kitchener, whi also played in that defence. It was clearly a high quality defence he joined, rather than playing alongside Connolly, Hoole and Gordon. |

Everyone raving about Crama yesterday but though Conor Taylor played a faultless game.Liked the keeper involvement as well,a few excellent crisp passes into midfield eliminating the Barnsley press completely.

He’s been our most consistent player this season , another fantastic signing by JB. Not trying to discredit anyone, a genuine question. Was it him or Jennings? Think I remember reading an article how Bogarde he’d never seen play and he was already a Rovers player Come on, Connor has signed for the club twice, Joey being the manager on each occasion, this current squad, although a lot on here would like you to think otherwise are largely all Joeys players. |

Certainly give JB credit for a lot of the decent perms and loans, didnt all work out, but that would be impossible.
No doubt coming back to the set up was a big part of the decision. Also remember lots of Facetime insta posts from Wael getting it over the line.
Credit where its due, we have probably the best young CB in the division.

That stint back at Stoke did his development zero favours, bit part appearances and lucky to get on the bench most weeks (if memory serves me) a little rusty first few games back with us this year but now fully back to this best👏🏻Long may it continue

Great investment by the club. I must admit I wasn't convinced at the 300k we paid, but if an offer came in January, we'd be asking for considerably much more than what we paid. He's been a rock at the back, and can play a bit too.

My Favourite player of the Promotion season. Really enjoyed watching him work that season. Been really good this season in a very inconsistent back lines with lots of partners around him.
I draw comparison to Andy Tilson. I hope he stays as long and becomes a stalwart of the team. A real piece of that "spine" every team needs!
My worry is his contract! It expires when he is 24 & we could lose him for nothing like we did with Tom Lockyer.
