Its certainly not been a great summer for the man. Hopefully though with the additional investment we can see whether someone with lots of experience will now come into the role.

Couldn’t tell at the time of Wael was facepalming the message or what happened with the shirt but when your owner is publicly facepalming something you’re responsible for it doesn’t look good for you.

Seems fair. Questions need to be answered (internally) about such a poor appointment and make sure we get it right next time, it is so critical these days.

As i see it, many were questioning his ability and history in undertaking such a job when he had little to no experience of anything like it. Fact is none of us will know and i very much doubt that the club will offer any reasons, other than the usual of maybe time, family etc. i know a poster has mentioned clashes with fans, on the socials and that is hardly befitting of a person in such a position and in fact it makes Wael look good in his saying very little, rather than getting embroiled with this kind of thing. 
I did wonder how long he would last as it seems the club are now pretty darned quick in finding the weak links in the club. 
Did anyone every get to meet him and, if so, what were the opinions of him, in the flesh as it were ?

Why would Barton be under review? They’ve backed him massively this summer, we played one league game and bringing someone in would mean all the lads who have specifically come here for him would be unsettled.

Excellent news. A walking disaster who treated the fanbase as irrelevant below him and a hinderence. Never understood and didn't want to know the connection between club and its supporter.
