Some people on here have a real hate boner for JB it is what it is there's no pleasing some And for balance, some have a love boner for him and will support him no matter what he does. There's too much boner here for a football forum 😂

So if David Bright was involved heavily in decision making ref the South Stand, there is your answer as to why we are in this situation. The guy is a salesman! What construction experience does he have? Surely it wasn't left to him to organise? I agree. I think TG needs to accept some of this.

The open day or whatever it was called for the Chesterfield game, the one where we even got the kick off time wrong originally was apparently a non event. Did you attend Topper? As the open day was far from a non event - there were rides, band’s playing, food, shop was busy with sales and a friendly (which was a decent watch)…. 1 million times better and more enjoyable than the previous year that was atrocious… bearing in mind all the rides were free etc… I would guess that is because the Community Trust organized it.

Oh for gods sake. Enough with these conspiracy theories. Take a mobile number? It can be tracked Have a credit card? Transactions can be tracked. Be a director? You are on the public database, including your home address. For god's sake enough. That’s exactly what they were saying in china before social credit system was brought in. Which of course, never happened because it’s all David Icke stuff. Really

Cant stop progression - Only people dealing in cash are drug dealers and those 'off the book' trades people. I have not had been paid in cash since I started full time work in the early 80's and cannot understand the resistance to cashless. It’s because people think it’s a move towards a digital currency where authorities can command how you can spend your cash, and have a record at their fingertips of everything you’ve done, everyone you’ve interacted with, worked for or worked with. Some people think that kind of power would be open to abuse by a government, or officials within government services, with bad intentions. They may have seen the Chinese system where political dissidents have their ability to own property, travel by train, travel by air and stay in hotels removed, without due trial and process for what are mainly political crimes, so it’s actually a system which exists and is being currently used in the world in tyrannous fashion. Some of these people probably believe that a lot of people haven’t really thought it through and back the position of the authorities, either through stupidity or cowardice. What a load of pompous drivel, although to be fair it's no worse than your other posts. Keep the apocalypse bunker stocked up. I'm sure someone will come and resupply you every year or so if the World Economic Forum meltdown doesn't happen.

A very dangerous route being travelled. It may not matter as AI will probably kill us all first. (This is not sarcasm)

“Loon” “Pompous drivel” Looks like the axis of weasel are winning the argument yet again 🤣 You’re only winning in your head 😂🙄 Surely he is winning the argument up until a counterpoint to his statement is put forward? If you are comfortable with the possibility of even more oversight, intrusion and control then please tell us why GOA is wrong. What he says is happening in China is factually accurate. Oh, but it won't happen here I hear you cry. Look to the US. A totalitarian military nation is already forming there and has been for years. Its a slow creep. Its considered normal for police forces to have tanks in many states now. The UK is never far behind falling in line. We have already given up so many rights, but the reality is we can live without a mobile phone, without a credit card and without loyalty cards that track our every movement and transactions. Calling someone a loon is not winning an argument. Oh, and to stay on track, David Bright. What a dickhead eh?

It has always been the case that established ruling classes will use any means available to maintain their position. It has been, and is, education. Look at the narrow group of schools and universities the current government are drawn from. The media. Who owns the main printed media? Watch the attacks on the BBC when they are deemed to have stepped out of line. Look at the activities of the police, infiltrating protest groups with under cover officers. I could go on. But the point is this stuff has been going on the ruling classes granted the right to vote. Using a debit card is not going to make the situation any worse. Quoting A1 when none of us know how that might be utilised, other than speculation. Look at our own club. Do we really know what is going on? 20 years after the prospect of fan involvement was first mooted we know less now than we did then. Sales manager allegedly sacked after he was tasked with running a build project. Club Secretary resigns and is replaced by a kid, who allegedly has now gone. An owner who p***ed away nigh £20M, got us relegated following a disastrous policy implementation and recruited an inexperienced manager with a highly dubious reputation. Now has given up and sold out to people of whom we know nothing. And still we will turn up like lemmings, shout dogs abuse at players and officials, laugh at the latest jokes about immigrants and vote for absolute buffoons like Johnson, Rees-Mogg and GoA's particular hero, Thatcher. We have so much more we should learn from than the use of Debit Cards and AI.

We have so much more we should learn from than the use of Debit Cards and AI. The BBC are the apex of the power structure. If you think they’re fighting the cause of the little man, God help you. Oldie, you are working off the same playbook. Slinging mud by bringing up stuff completely out of context, because you’re rattled and you want to signal “GoA is a bad man. Look at his tribal allegiance” why not throw in a “far right” for good measure? You have the world ass-backwards and you are completely lacking in self-awareness to understand that you’re both squarely on the side of power, and you use exactly the same tactics as the toxic rags yoi claim to oppose This discussion has NOTHING to do with immigrants, Rees mogg or thatcher. I can only assume they’ve been added in because you’re stuck in a loop of braindead twitter memes amd hobby horses about the various bogeymen that haunt your dreams. There’s a reason I call you lot the axis of weasel, it’s because you act like them.

We have so much more we should learn from than the use of Debit Cards and AI. Whataboutary at its finest. There are other issues, I agree, education and the media among them but you singularly failed to address the points made by GOA. There is a reason why the phrase Follow the money exists. Money, and the control of it, are the absolute be all and end all of every single country in the world. With it you can control your education, access and digest any media you chose and pursue whatever ideology you wish. In your Rovers related example you even site how much money our owner has lost and how reliant we are over a new figure we know little about, other than he has, you guessed it, money. You have concerns about our club, yet no such concerns about your own finances? That's an utterly bizarre position to take. I'm less willing to give up what little control I have of my money than you are but you have yet to put forward a good reason why I should. And we still haven't replaced Disley.
