Relieved we got that equaliser and happy with a point but in all reality Barnsley got battered could easily have been 4 or 5, lot's of plus points with the performance.

Barnsley couldn’t have complained of we won that 5-1 tbh.
Disappointed but encouraged/excited about the performances we’ve put in against 2 of the favourites for promotion so far.
Very frustrating the ref fell for that time wasting at the end though, with last weeks ref there would have been about 7 yellow cards

If we can dominate a game against Barnsley and give Portsmouth a headache at Fratton, there is no-one in this division to fear.
Just add the ability to finish our chances and we’ll be winning games left, right and centre this season. UTG.

2 points which could have been 6 but last season would probably have been zero!
Thomas outstanding and clear MoM. Two proper CB’s and another decent one injured this week. I was critical of Cox for the goal earlier, I take that back now.
Only downside was that Collins was poor. He has a lot of credit in the bank but if Brown is back next week, that could put some pressure of him.
Still think we need another number 9 as I don’t think Marquis will get many more than 10 goals. He missed a sitter today, but he does a lot of the dirty work which helps the team. Cover for CM also needed.

Good performance but also one with lots to work on. Hopefully this has concentrated a few minds on what is required in the remainder of the transfer window.

Still plenty of positives.
We've played 2 of the promotion favourites in our first 2 games, outplayed them at times, and we're coming away disappointed that we could and probably should have maximum points.
We're going to have a good season, I'm certain about that🙂

Great game today … thought we could have scored five.
If we are genuine about moving up a gear we need a proven striker , a combative midfielder maybe two.
Luca and AC had real off days …
GW and SF were not good enough today. Wasteful.
AE and LT were excellent.

Got to say I'm feeling excited about the season after that . As has been said finishing needs to be improved plus decision making around the box ,but JB will be back for Charlton ,and the transfer window should see some activity. Enjoy ur evening gasheads! UTG

Only two games in but if we carry on like that this is going to be a good season.

Plenty of positives, especially going forward. Thomas and Evans were excellent. Centre halves solid. Keepers distribution is good. Collins had an off day with his final pass but I wouldn’t be too worried about that. Marquis got into the right areas but just couldn’t finish. Sinclair looked up for it. Our full backs got a bit exposed in that first half. On another day we win that comfortably.

I'm no sure about Gordon. Hope Grant can stay fit. Gordon is a neat and tidy player, but he wont fly down the wing like Cadden and I cant remember many tackles he has put in. Based on Grant before his injury (yes i know, which one!) id prefer him there, but I can also see potential in Gordon like I did with Bola. |

As people have said great performances by Crama Taylor Evans and Thomas especially.
For me Evans edged MOTM and did wonder if he was taken off to receive his deserved praise from the Gasheads.
Could have / should have 6 points from 2 promotion favourites but without doubt we are looking good so far.
Now let’s get 3 points at Charlton
