Totally agree, Krama was the real MOTM. he looked like we had borrowed a premier league player for the afternoon. Don't know much about him but is he the one from Portugal? UTG Crama No he’s on loan from Brentford B side and is french. played in div 2 in France before coming to England. Looks fantastic I think that was his first senior appearance in English football. Hard to believe really. I think we've unearthed and absolute gem. Everything about that performance belied his age and experience en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tristan_Crama

I think the atmosphere will be better with our manager back on the side line, not sure what it is but he has an aura surrounding him that excites fans (not all obviously). BartonBall ⚽️ is so good on the eye, I think the new GK is gonna be a big part of it, and some of the other new boys look to have great potential . We are a very positive team these days, of course it doesn’t always work or produce wins but it’s entertaining 👍🏾 Totally agree, Joey has been in the background building a fantastic squad, Joeyball is simply great to watch; the team will be even better once Joe is back on the side of the pitch orchestrating proceedings.

I think Rossiter will be key when he's back - a lot of talent and if he's fully able to shake off his injury he'll be like a new signing.A good point today, that's two of the top teams we've matched and almost (and maybe should have) bested. Both of them on 4 points at the end of play today, so we've stopped them getting the full 6. Looking forward to the next few weeks after a fairly tough start, should begin picking up the three points regularly come September (who'd have had Cambridge down as pacesetters??) Many others have said that in the past at various clubs. The truth is he can hardly manage half a season. At 26 he should have far more games under his belt than he has. Great player but thats no good for us if he is injured constantly Yeah we’ve had this before with injury prone players it’s not their fault but as supporters if you put you’re hopes of success in them then you’ll most likely end up disappointed. With Grant and Rossiter I see them as both good players but I see the situation that they’ll most probably only play 0-15 games each season and any more than that would be a pleasant surprise. We need a defensive midfielder in before the window closes that I’m certain of.

Great game yesterday. In a nutshell :-
1. Atmosphere was flat -- Mainly due to the missing end. 2. Barnsley controlled first 15 to 20 mins 3. Had the chances to have won 4 or 5 to 1 4. Cox is an upgrade on Belshaw 5. Crama & Thomas were excellant 6. Pains me to say it -- But Finley is deffo the weak link and needs to be replaced.

Great performance and on another day Gould have won 5-1 As people have said great performances by Crama Taylor Evans and Thomas especially. For me Evans edged MOTM and did wonder if he was taken off to receive his deserved praise from the Gasheads. Could have / should have 6 points from 2 promotion favourites but without doubt we are looking good so far. Now let’s get 3 points at Charlton But Bobby hasn't played for us for years...

What was the attendance in the end yesterday? Fairly sure I saw 7,900 with 500 away supporters? Could be wrong
