Food for thought , just because he’s got the Chelsea label and Youth caps doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be any good at our level. A few shine , Elliot Anderson being the best example but more fail . I’ve never seen this kid play so have no idea but I’m certainly not putting him in the “ great signing” club. Let’s wait and see if he can handle it . True and at 19 Anderson was Flying and Battling for Newcastle Place that looks like he is albeit is a regular squad player and came on Saturday albeit for 3 minutes or so but a regular squad player all the same. Harvey Vale was tried and then went to championship and seems to be working his way backwards. As you say its not all about the Chelsea name, it was only a couple of years ago our u15's & 16's went down to Chobham and beat them. His lack of appearances at Hull was down to a change in manager, different horses for courses. |

Well, we had a Premier League player in League 2 so why not a Championship level player in League 1. Sounds like Chelsea are hoping we can provide a similar career path leg up that Anderson got here. If we do sign him I reckon that McCormick will be off, on loan probably, as that will leave us with a glut of options in the AM department. Andersson was only here a few months so what career path was that? |

If we are looking at having 2 decent players for each position and a few "utility" players.
Then HV will be in competition with Luke Thomas.
Evans/Brown
Collins/Sinclair
Thomas/Vale ?
Marquis/Loft ?

Hoole/Gibbons
Taylor/Wilson
Crama/Connelly
Gordon/friend

Thomas Tuchel an elite Champions League winning manager deemed him good enough to play him in competitive fixtures for Chelsea's 1st team. Harvey Vale is a top talent. I'm not saying he'll definitely have the same impact as Elliot Anderson but he's got the capabilities to. Looks like we'll have him for the majority of the season as well, not just half of it. |

I'd imagine this is a Collins replacement if he goes. Not bothered if he goes or not to be honest. One of the most frustrating rovers players I've seen. I was thinking the same if not his replacement competition for Collins they may even choose to develop him as a No 9 to challenge Marquis |

Thought it was 5 loans u could have in a match day squad EFL rules permit clubs to register up to seven loan players this season, but as you say, clubs are only permitted to name five in each individual match-day squad. |
