As much as we are are complete embarrassment off the field at the moment, we do seem to be getting things right on it.

Perhaps youāre right and you young whipper-snappers wouldnāt know the difference between right and wrong if it came up and kicked you in the ****. Vive la difference! š UTG! Iām sure GHB will take it as a compliment being called a young whippersnapper!. I can assure you my good friend definately knows the difference between right and wrong. Iām sure he can! Sorry for being late to this, was in London yesterday without internet access and only got back in the early hours so first time Iāve seen this. I presumed his comment was a tongue-in-cheek one and I replied in a similar vein. Apologies if he was offended (though as he didnāt seem worried by it I think he knew I replied in a similar way!) Blimey I know weāre not meant to criticise anything about JB (although actually I didnāt) anymore but I didnāt realise we couldnāt still make a joke. Hey ho! š All good, esp after last night. Canāt remember the last time I did two consecutive away games and had two good performances and results.š Mind you SW Trains leave a lot to be desired! UTG!

Well, we had a Premier League player in League 2 so why not a Championship level player in League 1. Sounds like Chelsea are hoping we can provide a similar career path leg up that Anderson got here. If we do sign him I reckon that McCormick will be off, on loan probably, as that will leave us with a glut of options in the AM department. I agree, if we do sign Vale, McCormick will be off either transferred or on loan. That's looking less likely now š

Really impressed with him during his time here. Just gets on with things without any ego or attitude, happy to do a job for the team in whatever position (signed as a winger/attacker and playing LWB) and seems to be continually improving.
Only 18-months left on his deal so I wonder if there's ANY chance we could keep him here permanently from the summer (noting his Chelsea wage is supposedly upwards of Ā£10k/w, so would require a big paycut)?

And the rest. He's on about Ā£26k a week at Chelsea. I would love us to be able to sign him permanently but I don't think there's any chance of that. There'll be plenty of Championship clubs watching him, he's showing that his versatility, attitude, application, professionalism, work rate and teamwork is top notch to go with his ability. He's one of my favourite loans we've ever had. Elliot Anderson was an absolute joy to watch but Vale is right up there imo, for his all round package. Really nice, polite, down to earth lad as well by all accounts.

Plays with the maturity well beyond that expected of a 20yo.
