I think people are just saying, don't get other excited. As the only time he was on loan, he couldn't get a game. If that was at Hull, somebody explained earlier in the thread that the manager who loaned him gave him game time. Then they had two different managers in quick succession and went back to Chelsea as he didn't fit into their style of play, and wasn't getting games. I'm certainly not expecting him to be the next Anderson, I think Elliott was a one-off. I will however wait until I've seen him play a few games before virtually writing him off. I know what they said. But Chelsea would have expected him to play more than he did. He didn't play for the first manager either, that was 90 minutes in total. Then this season he has to drop to league 1. Hopefully he can kick on again and fulfill his potential! A lot of players look class at youth level, have the technically ability, but don't make the breakthrough. Definitely an interesting signing. |

I know he must be joining, but nothing official from the club? ‘Welcome to Rovers’ / player interview etc.? Not too bothered about Joey announcing it on Twitter but would be nice to have it officially confirmed (just in case Joey’s jumped the gun and not all signed yet). Apologies if I’ve missed any announcement.

Anyone else think we will see an official announcement? Kind of redundant now Barton's confirmed it. Just shows the club need to speed up social media posts IMO. Hasnt come through the latest signings feed from FA/EFL yet....so not official yet i guess. Charlton also wont know if we have him signed or not. I expect an announcement an hour or so before kickoff. To do a GGMI ...erm....boom |

My god we have signed some real demoba this season....can't judge Vale yet but I've never known a season' this year or past where we have signed raw talent that gave 100% tobthat treasured blue and white quartered Jersey

yeah, but he is doing it for Charidy Ah, I missed that bit. Fair enough then, which charity is he supporting ? It'll be interesting to see where all the money is going, it looks like on a good day that he may already have upwards of 1,000 paid subscribers, so that's the best part of £5K per month he's now receiving less any commission Twitter receives. |
