Have to agree with this. (Sanity clause inserted here....................) Such a scoreline occurs ONCE every century when The Gas visit Charlton Athletic. Last 0-0 result at The Valley was on the 18th of November 1922. Then again. We might just win 1-0 as we did on the 29th of August 1925. Older supporters will remember it well. Realistically. Apart from the Marquis-inspired victory last season the Charlton away game has produced slim pickings. Since 1958 they have WON 15, DRAWN 5 and LOST ZERO times. They rarely let us score and they often score several goals. In recent years, substitutes that are powerful, direct and aggressive or skilful, speedy and nimble have won them the game. BUT. A victory for The Gas would mean three victories in a row against London's finest. Could it possibly happen? |

I always do both + 3 - 2 😁 If we accept that betting is generally a losing proposition, then doing the same scores makes sense. You'll get a nice bonus a few times a season. I've considered doing a 'south west accumulator' before - choose 4 or 5 and do them all to win. I need to see how often this actually happens though! |

I believe we have a lot of positive vibes around the squad and coupled with the forward thinking system we are playing we will win this by the odd goal.

Surprised Finley seems to have been dropped by JB rather than out injured, as he's on the bench.
Vale replaces Jones as well, so all his pre-season work seems to have to be pointless.

Attacking line up! Only concern is lack of ‘bite’ in midfield with Ward as the only CDM-type player. Then again, Finley and Josh Grant on the bench so can change things up if we’re getting overrun in midfield.
