Surprised Finley seems to have been dropped by JB rather than out injured, as he's on the bench. Vale replaces Jones as well, so all his pre-season work seems to have to be pointless. Not pointless at all. Part of building for the future. Whether he’s good enough let’s see, but looks promising. A loan to a national league side would be perfect. |

Everyone has been saying Finley hasn’t been that great so not that surprising is it ? Think we’ll be looking to play with pace tonight and catch them on the break. It's not pointless if it helps him develop,so would you rather have Jones on the bench or a guy whose played in the PL and captained England in major tournaments 🙄🙄 |

Tayo Edun will make his full league debut for the Addicks in tonight’s clash with Bristol Rovers at The Valley.
The left-back joined Charlton at the end of July and has made substitute appearances in the Addicks' opening two league games.
Edun replaces Terell Thomas as Dean Holden makes one change to the side that played Peterborough United at the weekend.
The Addicks are expected to line-up in the same 4-3-3 formation deployed at Peterborough with Edun joining Nathan Asiimwe, Lloyd Jones and Lucas Ness in a back four in front of Ashley Maynard-Brewer.
Skipper George Dobson will play alongside academy starlet Karoy Anderson and Panutche Camará in a three-man midfield with Jack Payne and Corey Blackett-Taylor flanking Alfie May up front.

Relying on gaschat tonight. Neighbour got spare ticket to FGR v Swindle. Might have to do some pantomime style booing if Taylor comes on.
We thought we had issues.
Ticket scanner doesn't work. No Stroud ale as they haven't had a delivery. No tomato sauce. My chips had a free sausage roll accidentally included as they have no idea how to take orders. Tasted good, perhaps they've been sabotaged.
Anyway give me some commentary.
