Rumours circulating that we are interested in former City and Wednesday right back Jack Hunt on a free transfer.
A vastly experienced pro who could definitely add something to our squad. Promoted from this league twice before also.

Westy, I'm sure his minutes will be managed carefully and Hunt could rotate with Hoole if necessary.

Would be a great signing for quality and experience at this level, especially if we want to be operating at the top end of the table for the duration.

Reminiscent of the Mark Little signing if this goes through. Let’s hope he can keep himself fit, sounds like he has bags of experience and higher level quality.

Could get another year or two out of him, wouldn't want to many of our oldies at the back playing at the same time though.
When he was at City he was earning £13,000 per week £670,000 per yr hopfully his wage demands are lower now.
No City player is worth that surely, club has more money than sense, as they say a fool and his money is soon parted, says allot about Cities owners (Sorry for using such bad language on here).

Surely with a squad nearing its limitation numbers wise, I think we need someone who can convert chances up front Agree squad needs another quality number 9, if Marquis gets injured we don't have another number 9 of quality to replace him, Loft is ok but lacks pace and technical ability to do well at this level. |

Also agree. Another number 9, CDM and a RB to challenge Hoole and I think that would be a very, very decent Window. Only slight little concern is LB cover/Competition as I thought Grant didn't look great Tuesday, but I realise that could be down to rust/fitness and also "when" he gets injured Gordan needs competition as who knows when Friend is back. |

Lack of updates on Friend are a bit concerning. Agree that competition for Hoole would be good. I’m not sure Gibbons fits with the Barton possession based style. Hoole has bags of potential but needs to be stronger in the air (Pompey exploited that a few times) and show a bit more desire to cut out crosses

I'd almost be tempted to loan him to a L2 club hoping he scores a few and make money on him. Having said that I don't know when his contract runs out? |
