From the other thread. 2 teams of quality.. So, we almost have 2 full first 11's! Cox/?? Hoole/Hunt Taylor/Wilson Crama/Connolly Gordon/Grant/Friend Ward/Finley Bogarde/Rossiter Thomas/Vale Evans/Brown/McCormick Collins/Sinclair Marquis/?? Plus at least half of those can cover multiple positions and formations Our reserve team would be crazy strong Assuming at the moment our main eleven when fit would be something like: Cox Hoole - Taylor - Wilson - Gordon Thomas - Bogarde - Ward - Brown - Collins Marquis Our reserves would be Belshaw Hunt - Crama - Connolly - Gibbons Vale - Finley - Evans - McCormick - Sinclair Loft (Potentially another striker if we bring one in) That squad would definitely be very competitive in L1. You'd even have people like Rossiter, Grant and Friend to strengthen this when they return to fitness. |

This is unbelievable, Joey has built such a strong squad, just need that regular guaranteed goal scorer and of course need to sort out the goalkeeping dispute, and BRFC should be in the mix to go up.

Been following Rovers 20 years now, this is the best put together squad in all that time. Top 10 finish is more than achievable and a push for top 6 is more than possible! Agree. Should be aiming for at least a top 10 finish now. Just one decent striker away from making a play off push now. |

is that honestly your aim.top 10, I want playoffs or automatics, with the squad we got playoffs minimum surly If we can get another striker in, one with the calibre of JCH (or even JCH as some are touting) then il start to properly believe anything other than top 6 is a failure. But until then,, fairly content with making good progress on last season’s position. personally I think we are at least play offs niw but with JCH or someone like him we will be Champions 🏆 |
