Been following Rovers 20 years now, this is the best put together squad in all that time. Top 10 finish is more than achievable and a push for top 6 is more than possible! I’ve been supporting 40 years and I second what you’ve said. Of course it’s all “ on paper “ until the end of the season when we see how we did and where we finish but I’m feeling super confident and very happy about our chances this season. |

I guess that means Teo won't be joining Seems a bit pointless now unless he's one for the future, we sign and send out on loan for the season? |

Its certainly a strong squad now on paper at least.
That dreaded 'gel' word is key though. They have to combine well and understand each others game and the teams match plan.
Another striker would be nice but perhaps we have enough attacking players that a "striker" isnt actually required.
We might play 3 upfront who rotate with each other across the pitch.
Collins,Thomas,Vale,Sinclair,Brown even Evans or McCormick could slot in .
Top 10 definitely.
Playoffs we should now be challenging for certainly.
Direct promotion ? Maybe if it all starts to click.
The team is at that level of previously in the conference when substitutes didnt weaken the team at all .

Delighted. Bogarde was superb for us last season.
Squad is looking really good.
Just one piece of the jigsaw left to find. Replace Loft with a better alternative to Marquis and top 6 looks very realistic.

Tough call to pick starting eleven tomorrow now.With;Gibbons, Wilson,Friend,Brown (and hopefully Rossiter due back soon) too,the bench will be the strongest ever.Guess a couple will be off loaded before the transfer window ends on Sept 1 st.

That’s just it…we have several options and formations we could play now with the squad we’ve got….so if we’re guessing what it’ll be then our opponents will only have an hour to work out what we’re going with once the team sheet is announced. |

Certainly the best in terms of quality and depth I’ve ever seen and I’m in my 30th year of being Gas. “He knows exactly what we neeeed….” Gotta say I agree 100%, I'm ticking up to 50 years of supporting the Gas and, ok, I'm a bit too young to really appreciate the mud seventies team but this looks potentially better quality and depth wise, than the Gerry Francis or Holloway teams. Like some others have said, the only area we're not as strong us up front compared to those teams, get someone like JCH in and that really is the best I've ever seen. |

This must be the strongest squad we have had for years. JB said he would be building a team to get us into the championship and he seems to be living up to his promise. If we could get in another quality no 9 we would be really cooking with gas.
The south stand thing might be a bit of a let down at the moment but the squad definately isn't.
