I do not think JCH would fit in with our foot balling side. Thinks to much of himself and not that good, why no higher league side after him if he is that good. Leave him where he is.

I think JCH is exactly what this squad needs.
With the players we have we always have a risk of teams sitting in and not being able to break down super organised defences. I remember last year us dominating for ages but it was SO hard to get through 6 big guys who are well drilled. Then we would resort to crosses with zero players who can get on the end of them.
JCH can both make goals out of nothing but can also be used to force a way through tough defences, he’s big and strong. Plus he wins free kicks and with evans seeming to be back to his best that combo would probably get us 5 goals a season alone
He’s one of the best strikers in L1 and we would be mad not to want him

Without trying to sound insulting (like genuinely) but how many games have you watched over the last 8 months ? Because from my eyes we’ve been absolutely crying out for a player of JCH’s quality in the box. Chance creation and possession hasn’t been an issue and we dominated a lot of games and played some really good stuff, putting the ball in the 6 yard box, in and around the area but just without that killer instinct. Jonson absolutely brings that. Marquis while he gives us a bit more effort in terms of the build up, he just doesn’t have that prowess in front of goal any more and would be a lot more affective in games against already tired defenders. This summer I’ve always kind of ironically said we’re bringing him back but with the squad assembled and with Barton saying last season that he wants to work with him, Mcathony saying we’re a bigger player, the new investment I honestly now think it’s all made for him to come back and to fire us in to The Championship. If not I still believe we will get a very high calibre striker before the end of the window as I just don’t think we will get enough goals starting Marquis every game. As for Bogarde returning. What a flipping signing, I’m on the bus 👌🏻🎉🍻 |
