It’s a bit worrying but there are so many new players to bed in! On the flip side if this squad don’t perform by the end of the season Joey will be gone because nobody can claim he hasn’t been backed!

When is this man going to wake up,smell the coffee and stop trying to fool gasheads who have been supporting this great club for so many years. This is league one and he is trying to install a premier type of football into league one players. Can the squad not see what is happening or are they afraid to speak up.

What is concerning, is how easy it is to beat the rovers side. We need to learn how to tackle, I'm sure the Wycombe manager told his players to get stuck into us? And we didn't want to know! We desperately need to find a way to be a threat at set pieces, need a physical number 9 to play off. Doesn't take rocket science to be successful at this level, just get a player in similar to Wyke at Wigan and we will win our share. That’s the problem, the way we’re playing it looks as if Barton has no idea what is needed to be successful in league 1. |

I don't like critising managers whether it's Barton or not. But it can't go on too long at home were we won 1 game in 7 months or 1 game in 15 matches . As I recall that was a penalty!. |

It seems the more we slag Wycombe off on here the more it inspires them to beat us, perhaps we should keep quiet! It is disappointing but with all the new players i doubt JB knows his best team yet ,will take a while but he has to find it soon if he is to maintain the support of the majority, he will stand or fall on the decisions he makes twixt now and Christmas, really want him to nail it for Rovers sake.

We tried the textbook league one hoofball ugly style, we were winning most weeks, it got us to 3rd in the league, yet radio Bris was awash with complaints about paying to watch ugly football & crowds were as low as 6,500 on Saturdays. It’s one or the other?😂 |

My concern after that is that we have been beaten on so many occasions now by poor sides employing exactly the same strategy and we continue to fail in exactly the same way. I saw little today to indicate that this won't keep happening.
That said I'd still rather have the foundations this squad have than watch a team like Wycombe who have zero potential to evolve and improve.

Positives.
Easy to see the negatives today after another defeat as there were several but .....
Hunt. Massive upgrade on hoole. Best gas player on the pitch.
Jevani. Very good game. Looked our only dangerous forward player. He will be flying when up to speed.
Friend. Upgrade on Gordon. Very tidy player. When fully fit both these full backs stay in this team no doubt.

If we had an attacking threat, they would be forced to set up differently. Make or break week for us. |

That was painfully frustrating again today. I'm not sure why we have changed 3 of our four defenders who have gelled and been solid whilst learning to play together. Cannot keep changing the side with so many different players and expect positive results. Thomas and Brown looked good. Collins Finlay looked awful. No target man up front . Ref was the worst I've seen at The mem since Shrewsbury game.
