Just seen all of them walking mob handed past grounded. Think charlton in the stands has given them the buzz They’ve been at a lot of games since taking over the club.

The thing that perplexes me about this is why would a group of business men from Kuwait, who have no links to Bristol or our club, be interested in buying us. I can understand Wael because he has a love of the game and really wants to be involved in football. I just don't get why they would pay multi millions to own a club in England that aren't currently or historically successful. The only reason would be to make money but I don't see how they will do that without making significant investments on a massive gamble to get to the premier league. I think Wael hanging around does give a bit of security on what their intentions are.

Some more "New kids on the block.' In addition to : HUSSAIN ALI ABDULRAHMAN AL-SAEED (March 1961) BRFC Chairperson Chair of Al-Elman Real Estate and ABDULLATIF AL-SAEED (June 1989) BRFC Executive Vice-President CEO FoodCo. We now have: KHALED ALKANDARI (Feb 1988) Analyst at Goldman Sachs Global Banking & Markets Division. and ABDULAZIZ AL-ROOMI (Nov 1978) Thought Leadership Author HR Leader and Executive Coach. More additions are likely in the coming months. Perhaps Sir Trevor could explain why they've tried to mislead us with false information, when the Company's House records show that the two additional members of the board are in fact both "Company Directors"? It's disappointing that they never owned up to the fact the information wasn't genuine, once it was clear posters just assumed it was by the way it had been presented. So what type of company's do these two new directors actually run?

You could say the same for virtually any new owner of any club if they've not been a life long fan, it's one of footballs mystery's why people are prepared to throw away years if hard earn money on a football club. Not sure many owners walk away with more money than they invested, unless they get very lucky.

So what type of company's do these two new directors actually run? It’s clearly a case of mistaken identity. First names that come up when you google them etc. Have you got a link to that news story that said they were these people yet by the way ?

Got to be honest, although I’ve been a big supporter of Wael since he took over the club from Higgs & Co., I’ve been feeling super uneasy about the new people. I’m not sure they’ve necessarily got our best interests at heart, unlike Wael who certainly appeared to buy wholeheartedly into the whole Rovers and Gas thing. Maybe having owners who are a bit more distant is a good thing, but I personally prefer the more personal human touch that we’ve had from Wael.

I can see why you’d be heading down that thought path but it’s impossible for me to form any opinion of them as they’ve said very little!

I doubt many if any current Premiership Clubs had even seen a football before purchase. Besides, we wouldn't be Rovers without some sort of distress would we?

I have no idea who owns the club, or anything about them, or what they want or intend.
That is a novel situation. It's not necessarily an inherently bad thing, but it's a bit odd.
Obviously if they do the right thing by us then I and others won't really care. But if we get promoted to the hallowed lands of the Championship then I can't see any of them being carried down Gloucester Road on the wilting shoulders of some ambitious gasheads.
Wael was very fan friendly indeed in his early days but that obviously isn't something he feels he wants to do now. I miss his genial and positive messages and interviews. I hope we haven't seen the last of him.
