Is anyone seriously expecting a free agent? I keep looking hoping for some vague rumour but nothing. No , I’m not expecting anything to materialise. Wrexham addressed their striking issue almost immediately but unfortunately we don’t seem to be actively out there looking to sort it ( obviously I could be wrong because I know nothing for certain ) and perhaps JB thinks that we’ll find our scoring boots again soon ? If the is JB's strategy I'm not entirely convinced its going to work, with Lincoln we seemed to be laying in crosses that were begging for a target man to just tap in... sh**.. I'd take Pittman back at this rate. I'm not convinced we're going to be any higher than maybe 11th? Hope I'm wrong but don't see us breaking the top ten |

As we had a free day I decided to take in Stevenage v Carlisle to see what a top end of the table side look like.
My god they are absolutely sh**e to watch. Very simple game plan. Win ball. Lump it up to Jamie Reid. He holds it up and a chance or dangerous situation is created.
We just don't have that player to hold the ball up enabling us to create those dangerous chances. Sort it out Joe!
Ps. Still glad we don't play that kind of sh**e anymore. Right end of the table or not.

Unless he sorts out this lack of attacking penetration and this constant nonsense of walking the ball into the net ..: we will be bottom four by the end of the month.
I’m just starting to doubt Barton’s ability to make the necessary needed changes to our style and also manage his ego around high possession wins you a game automatically.

It's ridiculous to think the with the business We've done in this transfer window we're worse than when we started with regards to a striker, surely a body up there would make some kind of difference, we can't just rely on Marquis surely... Yes we have goals accross the pitch but week in week out? the deadline was a debacle and shows how inept we can be. Trying hard to even want to care much about this season, and hate myself for coming across so negative, there's more than enough of that on this forum already. |

Not a free agent, but out of contract in June 24,I am surprised not to see Mo Eisa's name mentioned as a potential CF signing.
He averaged 1 in 3 in both of the last two seasons in L1 and has 4 in 5 this season in L2.
Worth a shout despite his previous Dark Side connection?

Have heard from 'Ted mates that Chris Martin is still living in Bristol - not aware of any links with us though? I was surprised to learn Chris Martin was playing regularly for QPR at the end of the season and scored 4 in 16 which isn't too bad. |

They can usually get better deals when the window closes as they are obviously in a smaller pool of players with more eyes on them, although some wait until they realise that big deal isnt coming, and have to lower their expectations |
