To be honest I wouldn't be opposed to this, short term contract until next summer, probably give us a vocal point up top, 10-12 goals. Solid option.

Until then we have a back up option or impact sub and Martin gets to show his fitness and put himself in the shop window ready for January |

Connor Wickham as an example scored 1 goal in 12 games for Cardiff, Lyle Taylor never even played a competitive game but is probably out of our price range anyway. Not sure we need a goal scoring CF anyway but just one who can hold the ball up for Collins, Sinclair, Brown and Thomas. |

We need to find a way to get our best players firing, for me that means Evans or Brown in the 10 behind Collins and Marquis. Probably have to sacrifice a winger, but collins and the 10 then free to roam. Having listened to Hunt’s interview on Having A Gas if any “ex-Teds” want to join us and have the same attitude as him then I’m all for it. Very sensible and refreshing point of view.
