I would hope Rovers put in the contract to recall James Connolly if needed. I'm sure parent clubs can recall a player if they can justify it. At present Luca Hoole would be cover for Wilson and Taylor which is thin. Other injuries are Rossiter and Freind .
Edit. A loan can be recalled if both clubs agreed in writing and is 28 days after initial loan ( signed 31/ 8 /23 ).

Oh dear oh dear If I see anyone blaming Hoole for us losing Saturday and asking for him to be shipped out, then I will not be happy. Joey has screwed up here. Lets hope Josh Grant can play CB.

Looks like it will be Wilson and Taylor hopefully.
The change on Tuesday was to 'share the load' - backfired but both should be ok to play !!

It raises the question : why so many midfielders and always thin in defence or upfront ?. Is this a new style manager operate Garner was the same !.

So annoying that a majority of our injuries come from the training ground, I could understand it a few years back when we were using substandard pitches, but that shouldn’t be the issue know as the pitches are the same quality as those at the Mem.

Why is everyone panicking and suggesting Hoole will be CB?
Have I missed something? Surely Wilson-Taylor partnership is perfectly good enough

The inclusion of recalls works both ways and we have to remember we’ve benefited a lot from loan players in recent seasons. We wouldn’t like it if some of our key loan signings were getting recalled by their parent clubs each season

Using Hoole at CB SHOULD be an option as that’s his preferred position & one he’s played many times. Unfortunately the lads a bomb scare back there so Wilson & Taylor must be kept fit, for all our sakes.

Makes the Beefy scenario all the more puzzling
CB is often the position that sustains injuries, and we are now only one more knock from a really makeshift defence!
Sometimes you do scratch your head at some of the decisions the club makes!!
