I have said this before and I have been flagged off by other posters. Barton does not know when to keep his big Scouse mouth firmly shut. He is a disgrace and the quicker he does a walk, the better.

Over the top from JB. Though I sort of get the frustration if LT has decide to come out despite feeling a strain.
However LT has been one of the best performers this season, hopefully JB realises this and it is hear of the moment stuff.
We look a much better side with LT in it.

Win and we’ve started off 4-3-3
That’s ok for me, this team will take a while to properly knit together in my opinion, looks like JB is keen on the 4-3-3 formation and we have plenty of quality going forward.
Maybe JB watched today how posh reacted after their manager went a bit loopy and thought he’d give it a go

He’s been arguably our best performer this season. How did Hunt not get a mention for that shocking lunge which cost us a goal Probably too scared to call out an experienced player. He threw Alex Rodman under the bus last season, even though he knew about his illness. I think the players know that's the way he is, they get the chance to have their say at training meetings. |

Took the afternoon off to watch the Ryder Cup. From reading this thread it sounds like it was business as usual when we go to London Road. Looking forward to 3 points on Tuesday.

Barton is not a manager. He is a loud mouthed thug who has no idea how to get results out of people. He is supposed to be part of a unit, not someone who sits on the sidelines and slags people off in public. Only cowards behave in this way.

As far as I know they have a "debrief" about the previous game, watch relevant video clips, the management have their say, and the floor is open for players to contribute. |

Not heard Joey's comments but think people are going over the top. He's done it before with LT and got some improvement out of him. Maybe he feels that is the best way to manage him? You make a very good point. JB did this to Thomas when he was on loan and yet he still came back. |

The strange thing is that Barton usually gives Thomas a bit of a longer hug than the other players at the end of a game, and appears to understand his character. A bit daft to talk about a player leaving just a few weeks after the transfer window has closed - also it was probably silly of Thomas not to flag up the problems he was having, but not exactly the crime of the century. |
