I still cant see how he played any part in their 2nd goal. Joey said LT pressed their full back, not really and was well away from him when he played the ball. Even if fit he wouldnt have been able to stop it happening. Blame Hunt diving in unnecessarily or the lack of any Rovers players to pick up the rebound from the keeper No part at all in the second goal, it’s systematic bullying of the same players. Trevor Clarke, he was a victim several times. Belshaw has been a victim twice, Collins stripped of captaincy, Thomas victim now three times, he picks on the weak ones. Now look at Finley who misses 6 games plus a season on cards, Rossiter off the ball elbows, nothing said about them. In other trade and profession, his treatment of Trevor Clarke and Luke Thomas would be up there with Dominic Raab done for bullying. No higher up club is going to touch him, man management is one of the biggest things in football now with Championship players at the low end earning £8k a week. The players have all the control, it’s why Roy Keane and Souness had to walk away from management, they just couldn’t deal with the players. All this bullying of Luke yet he *chooses* to resign for the same manager on a 3 yr contract . |

The bloke is an embarrassment to the club. He was an embarrassment before he joined us. And then some. He was an embarrassment when he got us relegated in bottom place. He was even an embarrassment when he got us promoted because he was embroiled in two assault cases, one of which was not resolved in court. Bet the lawyers were expensive. He has been an embarrassment since we returned to L1 with a big budget and an underperforming squad. He's an embarrassment when he blames everyone for any defeat. He even blamed previous managers for defeats under his tenure. The Luke Thomas episode was full on bullying. He's an embarrassment because of the way he reacts to authority. Every referee is against him. He's been banned from the stadium for his threatening and abusive behaviour towards officials. We should never have appointed him. He'd done nothing when he came here and he's done nothing since he arrived, unless you call treading water an achievement. You’ve got be fair though, he does talk a very good game. |

And it’s 5 minutes from home with his favourite manager just left his club in Yorkshire. I mean, why wouldn’t you sign a new 3 year deal on top money with pins in your leg just after an horrific injury, this is security personified! |

Employment law is employment law Topper and if anything, the spotlight and players mental health is more prevalent than ever. Bullying in the work place is also taken very seriously these days. Is the Daily Mail article on Barton part of Barton hate group? And if Thomas has made his injury worse, fine him and do it privately. Dele Ali cried on his interview with Gary Neville, Luke Thomas has had public mental health issues in the past, none of us know his background or upbringing. Maybe he’s so keen to prove his worth he made a terrible error in judgement, does this mean he’s called an idiot publicly, does it mean he should be fined to help reimburse us fans? No one paid for my Pompey away ticket because the proper manager never managed my team?

One thing that puzzles me, if his man management is so bad, why do players who have been here on loan want to sign for us? Luke Thomas is a perfect example. Was Alex Ferguson a bully when he threw tea cups, and hit Beckham in the face with a flying football boot? Not saying any of it is right, but people are acting as though Barton is the only manager who has ever had a rant at a player. |
