Good result albeit against 10.
Vale are a decent side, certainly looked better than us in opening exchanges.
Their players were all very neat on the ball and passed it around the front 6 fairly freely.
Once we grabbed the game it was straightforward. We had a few 8/10s so with our squad, that's enough to dispatch many teams in this league.
Glimpses of some promise tonight. Either Woods passing and the ability of Brown, Martin and Collins to name 3, we can and should do well.

Very comfortable home win, we are slowly but surely getting there, need not fear Oxford , convinced we will not lose there, well don JB and squad, hope it cheers everyone up , it should but don't suppose it will please everyone.

Very professional performance, I thought Hunt and Harvey Vale were fantastic.
Martin was good first half you can see the quality he has tired in the second which is understandable.
Pleased for Jevani Brown to get his first and what a first it was 👌

Woods struts about. He has a strange gait, a bit of a cockney walk. His passing range is next level , plays in the coutts / Whelan role but is a step up in quality. |

Harvey Vale played very well tonight. A good player. Delighted for McCormick and Brown. PV had some decent players too so a very pleasing win.

It was obvious we were gonna win relatively early.
Vale did just enough to handle the switch ball. Which was their only tactic for 70 mins.
Collins did there left back several times early on. There manager should have reacted. Left Cass exposed, CB gets booked covering him.

In the end a comfortable win , Vale looked organised at the start , but the first goal and the sending off , and nver in doubt for the gas.
3 wins in 4 now , in a league which lets face it is the weakest for years , we certainly have the squad to have us top six.
Cracking first goal for Brown , impressed by Hunt , Bogarde and Vale ( the Harvey variety ) . Onto the the U's sat , UTG

Well done everyone. A great 3-0 win against a team who’ve been in decent form as had Wigan before that win. A clean sheet as well. Move on to the next match now, looking for a precious point. 👏👏👏
