Another enjoyable performance and some great on the eye football to go with it. 2 home wins on the spin against decent opposition and a squad that has plenty of depth, last season we would have struggled with this many injuries. Looking forward to Oxford on Saturday which should be a great game to watch with them on fire and us starting to click.

Woods my motm, completely bossed the midfield. Organised, vocal, does the simple things so well and his passing is on point.

Great result, went abit stale 2nd half but I’m over the moon with the performance. Onto a tough one at Oxford on Saturday!

Considering the number of players missing that was a very encouraging performance. Ironically I thought we looked more dangerous before the sending off, the first 25 mins of the 2nd half we'd almost seemed to have settled for 2-0. Lots of very good performances, Woods & Bogarde both excellent & Martin gave their centre backs a torrid evening. Really pleased to see Brown score hopefully the first of many but for me Vale mom, out of position but still a massive influence on the game. Big test now on Sat, let's hope a few of the walking wounded are fit enough to return, if only to give us a full bench !!

Winning by 3 goals every week is boring.

Obviously pleased with the win but I thought it was a shame the Vale player got sent off as it ruined the flow of the play, I think that we would have still got the result against 11 men but it would have been more entertaining

Woods my motm, completely bossed the midfield. Organised, vocal, does the simple things so well and his passing is on point. Couldn't agree more. For a small lad, Tiger doesn't get bossed about either. Him, Doc Martin, Mike (Hunt) and Avram/Hugh, were joint contenders for MOTM.

Wilson - 95 games in last two seasons for Argyle And 51 in 3 seasons before that After 2 seasons as a virtual ever present would you have rejected the chance to sign him on a free transfer because he missed games 3-5 years ago?

God- that Crossby interview....
I'd be gutted to hear that if I was a vale fan... "total control" "improving between the boxes"
They didn't test Cox once in the first half. Should've been 3 down at half time if they give us the pen. That was as comfortable as we'll get all season. Your plan can't simply be work hard.

Funny isn’t it, one man’s injury can be a real door opener for another.
I really think we are seeing the best of Connor Taylor allowing him to be the main focal point and leader of the defence, he looks more assured on his own than with Wilson and Crama. Injuries have given Josh Grant ago, he looks solid and will keep improving. The big one though is the Marquis injury, he’d have started tonight if fit and in comes Martin, arguably a man of the match contender and John’s injury gave Martin 87 mins on the pitch.
For what the manager had at his disposal tonight, he picked a very good side, Barton deserves praise.
Macca must start at Oxford, it’s a big pitch and he has the legs to cover the pitch and arrive late in the box like Disley and get us goals.
Well worth of the points, great team performance, well done to the manager and players.
And finally, I’m starting to love the Mem again, the South Stand looks like it’s going to be epic!

I really didn’t want the Exeter game being called off but with the way the injuries are stacking up perhaps it will work in our favour.

Woods struts about. He has a strange gait, a bit of a cockney walk. His passing range is next level , plays in the coutts / Whelan role but is a step up in quality. He is incredible

I think we let too many crosses go across our box during the game, and we can't let that happen as often as it did; but a good win and did what we had to do somewhat within ourselves against 10 men. I think we had the ability to step up if or when we needed it
Now to start putting some wins together.
