Makes you wonder how, without actually being there, how any of us would have any idea of what is going on without the news media (MSN when referred to in derogatory terms) reporting. That doesn't mean we swallow everything as fact without counter balance, but that's all we have.
I notice, with some trepidation, that Israelis are considering barring Al Jazeera from the area. Not the way to go.

Come on Bags we both know 79 doesn't mean total annihilation of the Palestinian people and he does not support genocide. We all know he supports as do I and many others the annihilation of Hamas and only Hamas. Maybe Hezbollah too but that's for another day.

I don't care about any abuse to be honest. But I am genuinely interested in his sources that inform his opinion.

I do catch the news on occasion.
I listen to the radio alot as I spend much time on the road.
I look at twitter.
Like I originally said, I haven't watched the news(hardly at all to be honest) on Israel v hamas, but I know the story.

My opinions are based on personal experience, a grasp on how military ops work, how terrorist organisations work, convos with old mates. Stuff like that.
I see the reports and see the bias. I see the reporters sewing a narrative. I know that there are occasions that what they tell us is not quite what is happening on the ground.

After the exchanges on here yesterday/Saturday, I have tuned into twitter to see what sky and BBC are reporting. Looped info as always with reporters on the ground. I did find the interview with Natasha Hausdorf and the Israeli ex PM to be revealing.
Check those out if you lot haven't already for a rare glimpse at our news channels inviting the 'wrong' guests.

BTW and this isn't meant to come across wrongly, I stand by my comments on covid and have some experience with the current topic. I'm a bit tired of arguing the same style with the same people tbf.

I guess the dividing line, if indeed there is one, you make statements as if they are fact without any references to source. Then you tend to compound this by (what reads like) sneering at those who offer a different opinion by using derogatory terms such as "Main Stream Media" whilst hinting that we are all stupid and are "sold a story". I think click bait is the generally accepted term.

Now it turns out, despite your protestations, you are exactly the same as the rest of us, you just form a different opinion.
