What's Hoole done this season to warrant a 2 year contract, even LT is now showing he's a better defender.
Personally I'd now send Hoole out on loan to a L2 club to see how he performs elsewhere, then make a contract decision in the summer.

We need cover here for old man Hunt, and Gibbons aint it. Would definitely give him a 2 year extension, wont be one of our higher paid and will be a championship defender in the next couple of years. But he'll probably be hounded out by the "get rid" lot that need a scapegoat! |

Gordon does a job and solid backup LB/LWB
Hoole has potential and can cover CB, RB, RWB
Both appear to be good pros and deserve extensions.
It's a squad game not everyone has to be/can be a starter.

Thing Id add for Gordon as well is he is invested in our club. When he’s not starting due to injury or simply not being picked he still turns up and cheers on the boys with the supporters. See his Twitter he’s a good egg to have around the place.

But do they have potential to be a starter, as they need to pushing the incumbent. Flash I’d keep, but Hoole seems to have gone backwards. Unless Taylor can see potential I’d move on. We do give him more slack as he’s one of our own though. |

I’d give Finley another yr and possibly G Friend if he plays ( stays fit) until the end of the season. Greenslade I can’t answer as not seen much but unless you’re pushing for a starting place why keep him.
The rest I’d let go .

I think the market could be interesting, I don't think the bottom is falling out but absolutely believe wages will be stagnating. I imagine in the summer there will be plenty of options around on free transfers because wages won't generally be there!
