So we sit 17th tonight , still going to give JB until Dec , but we've seen this film before. Yes we had injuries , but the why so many , every season?
The refs dont like JB for sure , but leading with the elbow , not good.

Really disappointing start to the season obviously but I’m convinced we have a strong squad and will turn this around. Those who want JB out tonight who do you want to come in? Is Tisdale free? I swear some of the biggest regular moaners on here are the same ones who preferred life under Higgs struggling to survive at the bottom of league two with the threat of secured loans being called in. Nope but John Eustace would be a great shout. |

We win on Tuesday and it'll be only this or only that off the playoffs, we lose and its Barton out again, Rovers fans are so fickle but I suppose that goes for every teams fans really

I’ve tried to remain balanced with JB, and am an advocate of giving managers time, but I do wonder if he’s cut out to manage at this or higher levels He’s had more than long enough to realise we needed a big strong mobile CF
Our recruitment at full back positions has been poor (especially left back) We rely heavily on loans, you can’t argue some are going to be good players, but ultimately we rebuild again every summer. He continues to blame everyone but himself for poor results I don’t think we will go down under him with this squad, what the owners need to think is…. Could someone else get more out of them? UTG He knew that - he tried to sign the best one in the league and some muppet failed to fill out a form properly and on time. Not happy with how the seasons gone and he’s now on borrowed time but the club has failed him by failing to get that signing over the line. |

Only saw the 2nd half but I genuinely think without the red card we wouldn't have lost that game. I'm not sure Woods has deliberately led with his elbow but it's cost us big time.
Up until the 3rd goal we still looked the most likely to score but you can't ship 4 goals and expect to win games.
Hopefully a few of the injured players will be back sooner rather than later, if we're serious about challenging the play off places the next 2 home games will need to be the starting point

We shouldn’t have been in the situation where we chased one player all transfer window, only to cock up at the last minute! We sold our striker (although you could argue Loft was his worst signing) leaving us with an unfit, old immobile forward til January Whose fault was that? Looking very much like repeated JB errors in recruitment in the right areas for me! Only opinions though Would love him to prove me wrong UTG |

At least we have another game coming up quickly. I think Woods went with his arm in self defence, it was one of those wear the balls sitting at head height and two players running head first at it. Is that really ‘Violent Conduct’. Their player received little more than a slap and jumped to his feet as soon as he saw the red card was out. |

Struggle to see the justification in saying just need a striker tbh. Been backed more than he ever could’ve wished for. Signed 14 odd players loads of fans saying it’s the best squad ever, and yet now suddenly it’s a weak squad and need a top striker or we’ll be mid table. Loads of teams in all leagues could say they’d be promotion sides with a top striker. Injuries are always a risk when signing older players and executing them play 3 games a week
Really Big few games ahead

We will finish top 10 but that side won't make top 6. We can't beat sides like Burton and just simply arnt clinical enough to be a Promotion winning side.

Absolutely right too. His record at L1 level is poor. He’s got to have spent at least £4.5m in budget for this season alone and we are no better but apparently with much better players. The common denominator there must be JB. I’ve said he needs to be top 10 by Dec 1, so I’m not saying out now but he’s on borrowed time. It's not right though is it! We've won to nil, we've scored, we've finished with 11 players. Vultures don't exist in the UK either.. So wtf are you pair on about 😆 Did we not just squander an early lead by half time, have we not failed to score enough goals when we are on top did we just have a player sent off through his own stupidity. Oh! and the Bearded Vulture and Egyptian Vulture have both been spotted in the UK recently. |
