When was Martin ever brilliant for Rovers? The games totally bypassing him tonight, at least Loft got stuck in and won the occasional ball. just look back their through old threads and you'll see loads on here saying he's good, don't take my word for it I'm just saying what I've read on here I never did, can guarantee that, anyway a game to watch. |

He reaps what he sows. Too many changes and constant formation & tactics tinkering isn’t help us build any sort of patterns of play, relationships on the pitch or get a core spine working for us. Yes we got stuffed 4-1 at the weekend, but we were down to ten men, so did it really need this much changing tonight other than the obvious woods suspension? I don’t think so. Crama for Grant makes sense? You also sense JB doesn't rate Gibbons but God knows what he sees in Hoole. I thought gibbons played well Saturday, did a much better job of keeping burtons right side quiet that vale did and got created chances second half. TBH if I was hoole or gibbons I’d be looking to get out. I honestly thought tonight that Vale, Taylor and woods would have been the ones to be changed. |
