Not really sure how to feel about this. Happy that he's gone and we definitely should be doing better than we are but not sure it's the right decision. He's built a very good squad and the right appointment could definitely get something out of them but I have no faith in who we're going to appoint next.

Hopefully, this will mean someone can come in, look at the squad and then strengthen in areas that he thinks he needs. Hopefully neither Robinson or Cotterill are even considered. You do know what may happen though. Pretty sure I saw a you tube video of someone wanting to get into management…….😬😬

Obviously I have never been a fan, but still a bit shocked even if not disappointed
Thought he would have had at least Saturday which is a dont lose game and he may have been in a bit of trouble after that, but guess club and new owners have gone in early

Anyone think Nathan Jones could be tempted??
I know he turned us down last time but maybe with the plans for already improved training ground that may be enough to change his mind this time??

No need for that comment really is there. Emotions are running high and some are feeling disappointed/upset that he has left. Just because you wanted him gone and are now happy dosent mean others are. Yes apologies that comment went to far.

I'm very surprised and very disappointed. I believe he would have turned the tide. I hope the club don't live to regret this, the wrong appointment could lead to disaster this season. I hope this proves to be a real statement of intent and not a total bottle job. all this lot that wanted him gone will come back to bite them on the ass, we will get another Tisdale or Garner now, Barton would have got it sorted, I'm gutted and don't want to go on Saturday now, really gutted Feel sort of similar, really not a fan of the sacking culture in football. Barton deserved a period of time to make things click. We won’t get any of the names I’ve seen chucked about on social media so far wanting the role. |

Wow. Didn't think we were near that stage yet so shocked by that. Time for that list of Barton out brigade to come out😂 I think wel get Karl Robinson or Steve Cottrell but I'd prefer Paul cook who's doing a terrific job at chesterfield and has a management style that suits the squad we have built. I'd prefer John Eustace who was just booted out by Birmingham simply because the new owner wanted to appoint Wayne Rooney. Not sure if that is realistic though as he will no doubt be looking at another Championship job. This is my number one choice |

Yeah, definitely felt Joey would turn it around and liked him at the helm. Apart from last few games, felt he had us paying the right way and felt it would come good.
Enjoyed his passion, and yeah he's not squeaky clean but who is? Feel like it could end up being a bad decision especially if end up getting a journey man lower league manager.
