If the new owners were going to make a statement with the JCH signing now is a huge change for them to really do so.
Don’t mind them givging mangs and wheelo a shot but someone needs to be planning for the Jan window now.

Joey's been proven to not be much cop at league one level now both at us and at Fleetwood. Think league two seems to be his level.
Looking forward to see who the club target to take us forward. I wonder if the board look abroad with their background?

Timing surprises me, he s been given all he wanted bar JCH, squad is decent but results haven't been great.
Surprised by his appointment and gave him a chance, but his attitude of it never being his fault wound me up, plus disparaging remarks about other managers was not classy.
This seems a statement of intent from the new owner, and can only be a positive thing.
After wanting Ray Graydon years ago, I'm not putting up any names! 😂🏴☠️

The only time this season I thought we looked half decent was away at Portsmouth, and Mangan and Wheelan were in charge!! ??

Laying into Luke Thomas who has been one of our best performers this season was a massive red flag. I hope the team can rally round each other now and put in a solid performance on Saturday.

Neil Warnock would be amazing, mainly because the Teds hate him so much

Aside from the brief period Elliot Anderson was here and Aaron Collins' purple patch it has been pretty dire watching Rovers ever since Garner was appointed really, so pleased we're now seeing a change and feel it's well overdue with 3/4 of the season remaining, it's a good time to do it.
Let's face it with Barton in charge, the results need to be well above expectations to justify having a person like that at the club.

Pretty sure this only happened because I officially joined the Barton out club after Tuesdays game. I hold a lot of sway in the boardroom. 😉

No need for that comment really is there. Emotions are running high and some are feeling disappointed/upset that he has left. Just because you wanted him gone and are now happy dosent mean others are. Some people’s dislike of Barton was more important than their attachment to Rovers. I’ve supported Rovers for over 50 years since I was 9; in that time we’ve had some great managers and some that were absolute dogsh*t, but I never let my dislike or hatred of any of them stop me going to support my team and my club, even Buckle and Garninho (who I would’ve quite happily fed to the sharks). And before all the usual suspects start banging on, I’m not claiming to be a better fan or supporter than anyone else, just saying that Rovers are my club for life, but managers are temporary and I wouldn’t stay away from them just because I happen to take a dislike to whoever’s managing the team during any given week. |
