How are people so certain that the budget was £4.5 million? I think the Peterborough owner said that, however, I can't remember it being confirmed by anybody at the club (who would actually know the budget, not speculations). Stick with him at the moment, it's only October. See my post above Tilly, he mentioned the £4.5 million. |

Patience thinning. Been appalling at home for 12 months and after significant investment I expected more. We can't be unlucky every week! Yes that figures, last 2 home games 4 - 1 & 3 - 0 I agree appalling home form 🤪 Haha, I think that was the second and third home wins of this calendar year! That's exactly what's required 👍 |

See my post above Tilly, he mentioned the £4.5 million. “To have a real go like Plymouth, you need a £4.5 million budget, and we need to decide if we are going to have a real go” - I'm not sure that means that he actually got £4.5 million to spend (I might be being a bit dense here - it has been known!). Obviously had a decent wedge though, from looking at the comings and goings. |

I think it's also worth asking, who is available at any given time should we give JB the boot.
I'd hate to see another Garner/Tisdale gaff , so it could be about timing.
All ifs and buts depending on results in the coming months , but just something to digest.
Would we have the pulling power to prise a succesful league 2 manager ,mid season?

I take it you didn't attend the last 2 home matches then where we were superb? Yes I did and I was at Oxford as well. But we haven’t put together a team to finish bottom half of the table, I was also at Peterborough away and Cambridge, it’s the same most weeks on the road. I don’t just support Bristol Rovers to see the odd home win, have you seen his home record in League One BTW?! The owners don’t just give him a top 6 budget for home wins, we’ve played 12 games, we are in consistent and bang average, he’s blown millions on fodder as well. Slide away said we'd been awful at home for 12 months. I was correcting him as that is completely false when we have been superb The last 2 home matches. |

I had a sense of being here before - I know, it was before Christmas of the JB promotion season which culminated in the second best day I’ve ever had as a Gashead. |

Let’s not kid ourselves 4-1 is a hammering we are currently 17th and we have not looked convincing for quite a while. Joey has got us playing attractive football and I believe he can turn it around, but I am beginning to have doubts.

Your statement that we have been awful at home for 12 months is incorrect when we have won our last 2 at home. Might want to change it to we have been awful at home for 11 months aside from the last month when we have been absolutely superb at home. |

If every club used that logic then they'd just stick with their present manager and never sack them until they were relegated? Lincoln sacked their manager and they are now above us in the table. We've no real idea what budget the new owners would allow for a manager, if they really had £1+ to spend on JCH they could appoint a very good L1 manager. |
