Yes I did and I was at Oxford as well. But we haven’t put together a team to finish bottom half of the table, I was also at Peterborough away and Cambridge, it’s the same most weeks on the road. I don’t just support Bristol Rovers to see the odd home win, have you seen his home record in League One BTW?! The owners don’t just give him a top 6 budget for home wins, we’ve played 12 games, we are in consistent and bang average, he’s blown millions on fodder as well. Still waiting for this name your giving me as an upgrade to Barton? What a post 😂👏🏻 I don’t work in football, do you expect me to find Liam Manning from West Ham U23’s and Lommel SK? I never heard of Darrell Clarke before either when he was at Salisbury. It’s not fans jobs to give the club the next manager, you put a job vacancy out and interview candidates and decide on who is the best or your DOF helps you in this area. As for Faustus post, I’m no crackpot, I base my opinion on have a season ticket and going to I’d say half our away games, I’m not armchair fan. And it wasn’t me who said we are going for promotion, who said that by the way? |

Bit pervious folks aint it, remember the Exeter debacle ? it's a tad disappointing and it started so well but come on folks one great win does not make us world beaters and this kind of defeat does not have to define our season, work to do though Joseph!!

Final nail in the coffin for me.
Was a Joey supporter up until the last couple of months.
We've sunk a lot of money into this squad, a lot of them have Championship appearences to their names. Others just proven L1 players.
He's not getting the best out of them. Football is dire. We have all this neat tidy possession and never go near the goal.
Martin is a waste of space. Vale played out of position. Cox no improvement on Belly. Sinclair absent. Grant useless.
I'm fed up with his rants and ravings in the press too, doesn't look good for the club.
Argh so effing frustrated, after all the promise this season had as well.

JB's fortunately got 6 games out of the next 9 at home, so will probably have time to turn things around.

Gary Rowett is an obvious upgrade if he could be persuaded to take the job. Barton simply not stable enough to deliver consistent success at any club, volatility is his middle name!

Schumacher at Plymouth, how many called for him before Bury and Plymouth gave him ago, how many called for Ian Evatt?

Didn’t the club/JB extend his contract until 2026. Could be very expensive to get rid of him - it’ll be down to him whether he decides to go or not imo.

I had a sense of being here before - I know, it was before Christmas of the JB promotion season which culminated in the second best day I’ve ever had as a Gashead. I'm waiting for Mario balotelli to give us his once a month comment about Barton...... Bet he's busy creaming himself right now. |

Still waiting for this magic name from the Barton out brigade that's going to replace him to turn this around? If results continue then I'm all for a change but there has to be someone ready to come in and an upgrade at that. I'm yet to hear one name mentioned that makes we want Barton out. If every club used that logic then they'd just stick with their present manager and never sack them until they were relegated? Lincoln sacked their manager and they are now above us in the table. We've no real idea what budget the new owners would allow for a manager, if they really had £1+ to spend on JCH they could appoint a very good L1 manager. We've had one poor performance in the last 5 games and people are calling for the managers head without being able to suggest who they think could come in and do a better job than him? No logic in that at all. For the record id have liked Michael Appleton if JB was to get the boot but we've missed the boat with that one now. |

If we go bottom 4, is it down to us to have to decide who replaces him? Football is about opinions, Warnock wants to work still and lives in Cornwall, could he motivate this lot like he did when Udders were dead and buried? Could Byron Anthony work next to him? Would Nathan Jones take the job, he’s from Wales, Luton the same size as us? I’m just thinking here with no thought, imagine if I was employed to do this and had time to interview people! We won 4-1 a couple of weeks ago 🤷♂️ Like today's game that turned on a needless red for the opposition! Think that was the 3-0 against Port Vale, Though I don’t think todays sending off changed the result we would have lost anyway. |

What's the point of naming potential replacements, hopefully the owners will have their own list and not look to the forum for names.
It's not like there's a list of just half a dozen or so managers the club could appoint.
Probably Mangan would get the caretakers job anyway.
