Mark Warburton - likes his teams to play a passing game and available for free! (Not currently employed as a manager I mean).Left QPR over a year ago and could be tempted to dip his toe back in with us however unlikely that might seem to some.

As much as pains me to say I can see Ollie being appointed bookies now have him at 4:1 Wont happen. As long as Wael has some sort of sway he wouldnt appoint him. Not becuase he doesnt like the guy i dont expect, I'm sure he likes Ollie as much as the next man, its just not an appointment i would see him being a part of. His preference will always be a younger manager.

I know quite a few Luton fans, despite his success a lot of them didn't like him, huge ego apparently. Snap Good friend is a mad Luton fan and has said similar - NJ would never have got them promoted

Mick McCarthy would be a very good choice. His assistant used to be Terry Connor who used to be at Rovers now coach of Grenada Connor was also with the sh** - no thanks

Don't normally like the Holloway return idea. But as there's a lot of stuff I'd like us to retain, I'd be happy with Ian if he was committed to working with current coaching staff.
He has experience and would enjoy this team. Perhaps the right figure head to bring a little more compassion back to the mem without ripping up the notable good progress.

Rumours of Garry Monk being on our shortlist 😉
Wouldn't be upset at that.

From a purely footballing perspective, Roy Keane was every bit as much of a thug as JB. No thanks. Maybe on the pitch but not close to JB with court cases. Seems to have matured a lot. Would certainly be an imposing figure KP, please read my comment again, paying close attention to the first five words. Not sure why you have quoted me and then started banging on about court cases.

Forget Ollie is a gashead, passionate and all round good bloke. Lets look at this from a footballing perspective, whats he done in the last 5 years to say he still has it as a football manager? His last 4 appointments which cover 10 years have been this: Crystal Palace - 46 games - 30% WP Millwall - 62 games - 22.6% WP QPR - 80 games - 32.2% Grimsby - 38 games 28.9% WP Ollie hasn't moved a club forward in any of those appointments and in some cases they were going backwards. He isnt a Warnock or a Hodgson where these older boys turn up and keep a club up or win them a lower league promotion. There is nothing to suggest from a footballing perspective it would be a good appointment.

He has a very good record at a higher level. Although still young he has been out of work for three years, I wonder why that is. He would certainly get my vote if he put his cap in the ring compared to some of the names mentioned who should not be allowed anywhere near our club.
