Has Wayne Carlisle been mentioned on here? Taylor’s assistant at Exeter and Rotherham, left field, we just don’t know who has applied either.

Gone from 12/1 last night to 2/1. Probably because of not many bets being placed on this market but is quite a big drop.

Im all in in Robinson now! Think he could be a good fit. He has Bartons arrogance and ability to create a siege mentality but also tactically better and been promoted out the league

Current favourite for the Bradford job That’s his agent again, he was favourite for a lot of northern jobs while he was with us. He won’t get another job for a long time. He said as well if he was with us in 2 years in Div1 he was retiring and off to play golf. He’d need back to back promotions at Bradford to keep up with his 2 year Championship dream. All this said, he will end up at someone like Fylde at some point. Yes, I agree. JB is not going to walk into another job. (At least, not one he really wants.) Clubs will not want the baggage he brings with it. If it were just about football he’d be ok but he’s a firework ready to go off. Not sure he’ll pitch up in non-league. He’d need to develop younger players there. His record of developing our youth players was not great. UTG!

Any club with limited budget will look and see that he relied heavily on loans and have we seen a home grown talent come through in the last 3 years?? Don’t think he will be back to haunt us any time soon in League 1 UTG

Would be very surprised if it’s not Robinson. Holden still in with a good chance though. Club still have a few people left to speak to but Robinson ticks all the boxes
Also maintains continuity of an opinionated scouser who will consistently get himself in trouble with officials!

I can see JB ending up at QPR now that Ainsworth has gone Did they sack the bloke they appointed two days ago as well? My bad didn't realise they had appointed anyone assumed the position was still open

Publicly told everyone he was a CB in his mind, had a disaster in this position, and then bumped behind Hunt and Grant at right back. I had Hoole down for a big sale and Wales caps. And it reminded of Collins as well, gone backwards. Barton’s next job will be a northern club like Morecombe in my opinion, loans from big clubs and aging players he knows from North West. I could see Finley with Barton at Barrow, Morecombe etc and make no bones about it, he will take anything, even national league because no big club is trusting his mouth, sponsors won’t put up with it.

Let’s hope Bond (and/or whoever a new guy brings in) can unlock the massive potential of Hoole and Connolly. Work to turn Taylor into a top level CB and maybe even get Gordon to be a good L1 lb! Barton certainly failed some of these since bond left.

From my interactions with Kevin Spencer, always a top bloke and yes his daughter is married to Wayne Carlisle. I would add, Higgs also then fell out with Dunford.

Karl Robinson now 1/2. This is the first move I have thought could be fairly significant. Still might not be though.

I think Dunford could fall out with an empty room, but at least he and Higgs put their money into the club. Pretty sure Spencer threw his toys out the pram like a petulant child when his mates weren't allowed to control the club despite putting minimal money in and then bitched and moaned about the club on social media and then started supporting Exeter.
