I am glad they have personally done what I wanted and this was Barton removed as our manager but I won’t lie, the lack of communication has been bothering me for a few weeks now.
Any good business talks to its customers.

Any good business talks to its customers. Exactly. And it's not just "I'd like more".... I'd like ANYTHING! Bar a programme not we've heard NOTHING. It is alarming to say the least.

Any good business talks to its customers. Maybe they're androids and haven't been programmed to communicate with football supporters. Oh wait, that's politicians. Maybe they're politicians. If they're Kuwaiti politicians, I'm on a boycott! UTFG (not been drinking) 🏴☠️

Owners of business dont necessarily talk to their customers. They appoint people in senior positions to do that. We should see their strategy and goals from their actions, and hopefully hear more from the CEO etc Not saying I'm not a little worried, but in itself it isnt a problem, just unusual for us as Axegas says

It would seem to me that since the new owners have taken over, our CEO has had very little to say. I would imagine the new owners are slowly working their way through their restructuring of the club. I would imagine TG is on borrowed time and will likely be looking for a new challenge soon. Wael is now pretty impotent at the club so will no doubt slowly fade away. We will only now see what direction the club are going in once they begin their rebuild starting with Joey's replacement.

I am glad they have personally done what I wanted and this was Barton removed as our manager but I won’t lie, the lack of communication has been bothering me for a few weeks now. Any good business talks to its customers. Yes. Especially when the customers are requesting to be spoken to. Understanding the motivation for ownership of a division 3 footy club is key for me. If these guys have an exit strategy, let it be known! This way the supporters have insight as to what the plans are. There is no clear goal or focus for everyone to rally behind. That leaves uncertainty and is partially responsible for the squabbling, since there's an absence of vision. What is our 5 year plan? Our supporters are so used to uncertainty and ambiguity that it's no surprise we go from ecstasy to depression after a run of 3 results. There's no longer term view. I may have shared my Brighton story(careful) with some readers? 1-1 away at the withdean c2007ish. We shared a shuttle bus back to town with seagulls fans. Bit of banter etc. A few of them told me in no uncertain terms, that once they got the ground at Falmer started they'd be heading for the prem. The new boss-poker player, committed brigton fan had told the fans what he was doing. Got to be honest, I have a chuckle to myself every so often when I see them doing so well. Last night for example.. I told the blokes on the bus that they were full of sh** and we'd get somewhere before they ever would!🤣

Can’t remember Abramovich ever having too much to say. Maybe it’s just their way. Why not leave ‘em be and let them do their “talking” in actions and deeds? UTG! Actions and deeds so far under the new majority owners: Build a stand before planning permission was even discussed. Withdraw that application and put in a new one, resulting in further costly delays. Remain silent whilst other parties are saying the desperately needed Fruit Market stadium build has collapsed. Messing up the paperwork so that a transfer of a desperately needed and proven third tier goalscorer fell through. Sack a manager without giving a reason. Doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence.

Love the story Simon, and love the project at Brighton.
I’ve researched their board as well in the past, they basically have a fan property developer on the board, he doesn’t own shares. People laugh at Nick Higgs and Ed Ware, the first might not be able to run a football club but you can’t deny he delivered two successful planning applications granted for a new ground.
Luton Town has the Chairman of Sony music on their board, another fan, joined them around the time Jones took them up from Div1.
This best thing this board can do is invite some fans to the board who are successful in business at a high level, someone like Ed Ware (all our planning, stand issues, potential new ground) would be a good person on the board. For the record I don’t know Ed Ware.

Why the reticence to talk to the fans? We’ve seen a picture of you holding a scarf the day you came in when you made a short statement to the press but since then nothing. Why? Don’t you care about building a relationship with the fans? Don’t you want to share your vision? Today you made a big decision. A decision that made a lot of fans happy and another lot disappointed. Why did you make the decision? Do we have to guess? Early days for you and you still have chance to make a first impression. What impression do you want to make? You may now be the major shareholder but we the fans are the emotional shareholders and without the fans the club is nothing. So, just talk to us, please! What is it you want to know ? It's still early and there are probably contractual and pay off negotiations to be manged and discussed.

Like ex managers, I don’t want any of these near my club ever again. What next a third appearance of the serial loser Bradshaw?

Has anyone considered the new owners may not be able to give a full account for Joey's departure due to legal reasons. Far easier to say it was based on results than to say something that could land them in court.

Have to laugh. All this talk of our new owners not communicating with us and then some claiming on here that they know interviews are being held today and the names of those being interviewed. Then when challenged as regards their sources, they can’t tell us. It’s like a kids playground on here, the usual suspects speculating and claiming they know this and that. Sad thing is it happens time and again on here and none of it ever comes to pass.

Although given JB was only dismissed yesterday it seems very unlikely interviews for his replacement could take place today.

Any good business talks to its customers. Really? Never had any communication with Ken Murphy, Richard Walker, Stuart Machin, Nish Kankiwala, Johan Lundgren or any other business that I spend more with than BRFC.

Do you have an emotional attachment to any of those businesses? Do you spend money with those businesses no matter how 5hit the product they produce? Have you been a customer of those businesses since you were a child and will be until the day you die? Do you go on a forum every day and talk about those businesses? Do you think about those businesses and how well or badly they are doing every day of your life and if those businesses do badly will it have any affect on your life? How many ‘customers’ do those businesses have compared to BRFC? Ridiculous comparison.

Go stand outside the new Owners door and tell them you've got a Childhood interest in BRFC, tell them how much you've spent and demand answers. Let us know how that goes.

Here you go again making 5hit up. No one is demanding answers, just a single word of communication would be nice. Football clubs are different than any other business and despite your disingenuous comparison with conventional consumer businesses you do know this, otherwise you wouldn’t be on here every day of your life would you?
