Why the reticence to talk to the fans? We’ve seen a picture of you holding a scarf the day you came in when you made a short statement to the press but since then nothing. Why? Don’t you care about building a relationship with the fans? Don’t you want to share your vision?
Today you made a big decision. A decision that made a lot of fans happy and another lot disappointed. Why did you make the decision? Do we have to guess?
Early days for you and you still have chance to make a first impression. What impression do you want to make?
You may now be the major shareholder but we the fans are the emotional shareholders and without the fans the club is nothing. So, just talk to us, please!

They’re the owners. They can do whatever they like.
They can keep us in the dark, or they could write us a letter Wael or Higgs style.
However it really would help for them to come out and comment on what the direction of the club is.
If we’re regenerating the Mem piecemeal there’s no confidentiality clauses to break.

I’m not convinced that they have any affinity with football, or great desire to build any kind of relationship with the fan base. I worry that Wael may have (unwittingly) sold us right down the river with this lot . . .

Another issue is that the longer it takes them to make a statement, then the more space is left to be filled with suspicion and rumour.

It is worrying that we are again not being communicated with by the club. Who are our new owners and what are their vision?
After sacking the manager and what has been somewhat of a shambolic series of events off the pitch, it would be good to know what they have to say on it all.

Probably sucked in by potential gains from the Mem becoming available during the FM talks. No idea if they are football people or knew anything about BRFC 12 months ago-I doubt it. A money move with a side hustle I expect.

I sense JB's gone as the owners are worried the stand will never be used to it's full capacity if JB remained in charge.

Can’t remember Abramovich ever having too much to say. Maybe it’s just their way. Why not leave ‘em be and let them do their “talking” in actions and deeds? UTG!

It's virtually impossible to draw any conclusions at all about their motives or intentions since all we have is this: ____________ In a statement, Mr AlSaeed said: “I am privileged to join Wael as a partner of BRFC. I have been a huge football fan for many years, and it has always been my ambition to own a stake in a club. BRFC is the one club that I most desired to be a part of, due to its great fanbase and future potential. “From this day on, I assure the fans that we will be working tirelessly on the sustainability and growth of the football club. Rovers are a club with huge potential that is still untapped, and it is our duty to make sure that we do everything possible to improve the current state. “I have really enjoyed my time in the lovely city of Bristol, and I hope to contribute to the community in the best manner possible. “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our beloved fans for their continuous support to the club. I look forward to meeting you all at our first home game of the upcoming season.” ____________ I think we can take the comment about BRFC being 'the one club (he) most desired to be a part of' with a pinch of salt, but what he really plans is entirely unknown. It could be great. It could be a catastrophe!

Has anybody on this forum managed to get 20 minutes with these cats? Wael has been approachable in the past but we've had zilch so far from the new owners.

Yeah gasburner said they had an interview with them but it's taking a while to write it up as they want to get it right.

On a serious note I've had concerns about them for weeks now. Something doesn't sit right with me. My only hope is that I know wael.cares deeply about this club and surely wouldn't have sold half of it to people he didn't trust. 🙏

I think we’re used to very hands on owners who have a very visible presence. Dunfords, Higgs, Wael.
Not every owner is going to be like that. As long as they do what they’ve been brought in for, which is to provide investment and expertise and as long as we’ve got some contact with the board with Wael and Gorringe, then it’s acceptable.
The Kuwaitis might prefer a discreet way of doing business, they might not be confident with English as a second language or feel they are media trained enough.
As a fan I’d like to get to know them more, but it’s not an absolute must.
