Yes, yes, no, no, yes, yes, yes, yes, maybe, no, yes, yes, yes, yes. Boring. Go stand outside the new Owners door and tell them you've got a Childhood interest in BRFC, tell them how much you've spent and demand answers. Let us know how that goes. Here you go again making 5hit up. No one is demanding answers, just a single word of communication would be nice. Football clubs are different than any other business and despite your disingenuous comparison with conventional consumer businesses you do know this, otherwise you wouldn’t be on here every day of your life would you? Making sh1t up again, how nice, name any time I've done that. If you read the post I originally answered, it suggested Businesses should talk to their customers. Rovers are a Business are they not? I gave examples of Businesses I have the same interaction with that I do not hear anything from.

I am glad they have personally done what I wanted and this was Barton removed as our manager but I won’t lie, the lack of communication has been bothering me for a few weeks now. Any good business talks to its customers. Really? Never had any communication with Ken Murphy, Richard Walker, Stuart Machin, Nish Kankiwala, Johan Lundgren or any other business that I spend more with than BRFC. REALLY?! First of all, I buy a lot from John Lewis, all my electrical items as they offered extended warranties, I don’t need to hear from the CEO because I am so pleased with their service. I don’t support John Lewis but can easily walk away from them, I don’t want to walk away from Bristol Rovers and can’t because of my love for the club. John Lewis BTW communicate to their clients with advertising, this can be via the media or direct into your inbox, letting you know of sales etc, I don’t want to know if they are opening a new store in Glasgow!

Don't you get e-mails from Rovers about Club Shop offers, pre-match build up, iFollow info, interviews, travel info, Ticket offers etc?

Service provider is different to something you pay to support for entertainment. I don’t support an individual cinema in Oxford where I live, I go to be entertained but I have no affliction towards the staff or building!
So many different forms of businesses to customers, I genuinely worry how some people think and understand business.
All good business talk to its customers or “potential” customers in some way. Tesco Clubcard is a thank, Virgin flying club, the air miles are a thank you for flying with them, also an enticement to fly again with them, I get emails every month with offers and news.

But this is the secondary news I want to hear, the news I want to hear about is where my main money and support goes into, match day football matches and the facilities I use. Can I ask what your career is and what industry you work in or are you on the wind up?

Season ticket renewals only applies to the lucky ones who can afford this route and have the time to go every game.
But how do you entice the causal fan to get a season ticket with the money and time?
You tell the customer (us) the great plans you have, the good news, you make the customer think they are partnering with something successful or that’s going to be successful.
Baggies pal, go and watch the Wrexham documentary and stop posting on here, it will help you.

Interesting, great business you worked for, one of the only I guess like Coutts where your clients come to you and are vetted 👏🏻 You havent worked in a business where you are in a desperate fight for customers. Interesting how Tesco stoped, listened to their customers and this has in part helped transform their business. If you ever have the time, have a read of the Book the Power of Habit. Fascinating how the owner of Starbucks grew it to an empire, retired and it all started going wrong, the new leadership team got out of the “habit” of listening to its customers and interacting with them. Share price and profits crashed, in 2007 he returned to sort it out and the business boomed again, he said the business will never do this again. A hobby of mine is reading stuff like this, Steve Bartlett diary of a CEO is very good, half way through it.
