Just a bit of fun.
Played for Avon Athletic from the age of 9 through to 16. Mainly a centre half but covered every position including goal at some point.
Never could be arsed with men's football, partly because I was more interested in town by the time I got to the page and partly because I was a scrawny bugger an was scared of being eaten alive, kind of regret not giving it a go now!

As a young lad, I played in the same team as Gareth Taylor, they were in Weston super mare, called Milton Nomads.
I then climbed the ladder to finally become a regular right back at the mighty Banwell FC
Doubt many on here can rival that.

Been there since I was 18 (28 now), never wanted to play for anybody else, regardless of how bad we are now! Haha

Dens Park, Dundee 57.4747 degrees N
(The all weather training pitch they used to hire out to Sunday league teams!)
Had the dubious honour of playing the session before Dundee Utd in the mid 90s (the 2 Dundee clubs shared) and playing at R Back just before Christian Dailly came on to show me how it was done. He did take the water a bit but wasn’t too harsh!

Played one game for Lawrence Weston saints when I was around 14 - 15 years old as a last minute replacement as my mate was injured in the warm up , played at RWB , was asked to leave the pitch after roughly 2 mins as i mistimed a challenge and actually broke the prosthetic leg in half of their striker. Can’t remember what league it was but I never played again. True story that , Richard , if you’re on this forum , I’m still sorry !

Winterbourne United, Hellenic League
Couple of seasons there in my late teens/early 20’s, then the rest of my amateur days at Sodbury with my mates in the Prem Combination, good times.
