Not the best performance, but because of Reading’s position at the bottom of the table, most people thought we would roll them over, but their position is because of their points deduction & they have beaten Bolton & Stevenage at home this season, so a point isn’t terrible. IMHO the pairing of Evans & Ward are our best midfielder’s to supply the frontline & we’re both missing last night which didn’t help, like to see the late penalty shout again as it looked odds on we were going to score, let’s hope for a better display at Carlisle Saturday.

Suprised people are saying the away end was quiet, on ifollow it sounded like one of our loudest away crowds this season, perhaps just the microphone placement We were very loud when we sang. The reading fans were next to us, so perhaps the experience on ifollow was that our fans were making all the noise, when we weren't.

Think some are being a little harsh on the players. I might not agree with some of the positions they were asked to play in but thought they all out a shift in. Reading have a decent team, they didn't make it easy for us. Think Mangan got the tactics wrong, and it's still way too easy to score against us but any point on the road is a decent point. People see different games. If that's what some people call putting a shift in, then I'm lost for words. That first half performance was worthy of a refund.

Reading did a job on us, closed us down and got in our faces, I was quite surprised how decent they were? No where near the worst team we've played this season. It wouldn't surprise me if they take points from some of the better teams. I did think our shape was wrong first half, but saying it was worthy of a refund is way over the top IMO. Not great but we will learn from this and get better....

They were also good on the ball and strong in all thirds. As for us, it's OK to disagree, but that was way below what I would expect to see from professional sports people and deem it unacceptable. I can accept errors and square pegs in round holes but lack of effort and determination, I cant. Like I said, having been to watch other teams no doubt like others here. Other fans wouldn't have accepted that without kicking off and letting the players know.

In fairness to reading and their stupid drum they pretty much sang all game which was decent for a home crowd. We sang about 5 times which was loud. Other than that the away support was shi*. But then again the players didn't give us much to sing about.

One of the biggest problems we seem to have this season is not being clinical infront of goal, we seem to often get more shots at goal than the league teams we are playing , but they are often inacurrate. One of the worse offenders is Collins, who seems to have lost his way a bit since January.

Cox probably at the stage where he needs to be dropped. Starting to get very nervous when the ball is at his feet. The pace of the attack starts with the keeper and he just slows it down too much at present Good post! He's young and makes mistakes, instead of dropped I would rather he sat out for a few matches to manage him correctly as focus is on him unnecessarily at the moment. He doesn't inspire confidence and it's affecting the defence.

Given we've never even seen Hall play and Belshaw doesn't look like he'll be returning from FGR anytime soon, if ever, who are you planning on playing instead of Cox?

How did the ref not see this as a pen when he seems to have had a good view, was he worried he's get pelted with tennis balls if he gave it given the pen would have been at that end of the pitch?

No mention about at least one move he started that broke through the lines when other players were switched on. ...or the great save he made when shot at him on 1v1. He's young. He needs nurturing. It's his first season and yes he's doing some good work, but his mistakes will prove costly one day and last night was hardly confidence boosting. Even Reading commentary noted it.

I've just watched the highlights back and there's a couple of times where Brown doesn't even look like he's interested in receiving the ball, despite being in great positions. Needs a bit more drive.

Just for a few matches? If he's good enough to make the bench, why not?

Just got back , really disappointing display and we just about deserved a point. We desperately need a manager in with a bit of experience and nouse. Just got home. I think that was the worst distribution I’ve seen from Cox. Woeful all night. Finley gave the ball away over and over again. Feel we would have done better with Marquis starting to pressure a defence low on confidence. Vale did very well after his introduction, and Thomas was our biggest threat throughout. Martin did Martin things which was brilliant. Overall very disappointed in Cox again and not convinced at all.Perhaps. His distribution is inconsistent but he made a great save at 0-1 and had it gone to 0-2 I doubt we’d have got a point. I’ve read lots of moans about him but haven’t seen mention of that save. UTG! edit: Just seen o2 mention the save Cox made but I don’t think anyone else has.

Been done by a few teams to save money.
