As long as its not red I couldn't give two shits what colour it is! I'd have painted it with glow in the dark paint 😄 #FkAltonRoad Trigger sold some to Del Boy - he might have some left after painting his mothers gravestone and Mr Chin’s kitchen!!

Can you imagine the grief we’d have got if we’d have made the stand sh** brown?! Or Twerton Green?!
We are a club who resonate with the colour blue and the stand is blue. Job done.

Imagine how long the consultation process would of took asking local objectors their views ?. In the end the application was approved by the planning officer and a full council committee voted overwhelming to support it with recommendations. Talk about crossing the i,s and dotting the T's. We play in Blue : we own the ground and our history is Blue !

As long as it’s not red I couldn't give two shits what colour it is! Exactly Tommy, we should always consider the local community with anything like this, I’m sure the architects will plan with both us and our neighbours needs/concerns in their minds 👍🏾

We play in Blue : we own the ground and our history is Blue ! Rovers have been hiding in the dull shadows of their richer, more successful red neighbour for too long long. Maybe a distinctive all-blue stadium and some aggressive image marketing could rejuvenate the (rather grey & aging) fan base, increase the attendances with younger, brighter fans and give the whole club a colourful boost. Having big blue buildings never did IKEA any harm.

Just proves that some people are never flipping happy. Or they may have a hidden agenda ? Whatever. I thought we had binned off most of those when it was discovered none of their agendas work and they make themselves look stupid. Admittedly one or two do try it on the AF and then attempt it here now and again, mentioning no names but we know who they are.

What sort of logic is we play in blue so it's okay that the stand is a bright blue. It's like a Child naming their toy bear "bear".
Supposed to be a professional football club, really hope they are looking at making it appear a little smarter than it does. It's like the protective film has been left on.

I can’t see anything wrong with the stand being blue in keeping with the clubs colours and what is wrong with a child calling a toy bear ‘bear’

Anybody would think you had an issue with the colour reading the recent posts on this thread? I have an issue with any colour which doesn't blend in with it's surroundings. It may well blend in… why do you think they paint warehouses these colours…

Just proves that some people are never flipping happy. Or they may have a hidden agenda ? Bit weird that some people don't like the luminous blue of the stand and you think they have a hidden agenda?

What am I missing here, the south stand has been blue since it was erected. Have they added a different shade of blue on top? Why is everyone discussing the colour when it's been in place for 6 months?

What am I missing here, the south stand has been blue since it was erected. Have they added a different shade of blue on top? Why is everyone discussing the colour when it's been in place for 6 months? It's a small minority who are opposed to it and I wouldn't take any notice of them. I use my energy to write and target policymakers to support ground developments. A certain political party at to do a massive u-turn underestimating the majority of the will of the people . They came on this forum arguing with us and justifying their Anti. Let's all continue to write lobby and support any developments on the ground like City Swansea Cardiff Soton Brighton Reading Oxford Plymouth etc etc etc have. Play them at their own game!.
