Do anyone think we will finish work and get it signed off ; allowing more tickets for Pompey game ?. Or is this it ?. I’m hoping we can get at least 50% of the stand open by using the match as a test event, depends on how much work is still required on the concourse I guess. As I understand you cannot charge entrance fee for a test event and if you let people into new stand v Portsmouth you will upset season ticket holders.

Any idea why we can't sell out the entire away terracing even if the view is restricted by the new stand, as I'd personally rather have to accept a restricted view for a one off away game than have to miss the game? Although it's baffling why seating in the new stand is so restricted for two festive games, when Wrexham are apparently going to use their new temporary stand to full capacity on the 23 December, it muse be years since they had any fans using a stand at that end of the ground? Perhaps the toilets aren’t fully installed yet or something like that. it’ll be open when it’s ready they haven’t built it to keep it empty.

Good luck with that lol

There's +6 with me that would of gone but left it too late for tickets. We are definitely losing out on extra income most home games.

You can now put your terrace tickets against Portsmouth on Ticket Exchange. I have just sold mine in 11 minutes. They are only offering £10, but it is better than nothing. I am unfortunately unable to attend as my wife has other plans for the day.

Good luck with that lol I can't understand why Wrexham don't appear to need a test event(s) for their new 2,000 seat temporary stand but we do for a more permanent, and so you'd hope safer, stand. Likewise how have they organised toilet facilities etc in under a month.

I put the credit I received from a home game back in march against buying my pompey away ticket for this seasons opener, when it came to buying one it ended up costing me £4 odd.

[br Yes, the £10 was for a full paying adult ticket However better than nothing, but I think that it is a bit mean as they were crediting £15 to your account last year.

Amongst all the chat about a test event being needed would it be possible to ask the Gas Girls to play one of their league game at the Mem and use the new stand to house the spectators. Charge nothing if you’re not allowed to do so for a test event but reimburse them the money afterwards. Must be some way of doing it.
UTG!

Re the Liverpool new stand, they are having test events (3 I think) then safety certificate has to be issued, followed by a phased opening. Its a monstrous stand though so I don’t think we would have to jump through that amount of hoops - all about the capacity I would imagine.
