Portsmouth are rightly disappointed that they have only been allocated 750 tickets for the Boxing Day match - this is 525 tickets down on last seasons allocation. I was hoping for a big crowd for this match but clearly the new stand will still not be ready for full capacity.

Maybe they dont trust the pompey fans? Or we are awaiting full opening approval to sell tickets properly?

I did look at tickets for Charlton on the 29th and it wasn't an option - though could just literally be sold out. If anyone knows, I'd be interested to know myself!

No. It will be flexible. 1 block for small away followings or games where we could sell 10K+ More but not all for big away followings. Would expect Pompey to be 2 or 3 blocks if fully open.

Until we've had a test event, which could well be the Cheltenham game, I can't see how the club can sell 3,000 tickets for the new stand, there's still plenty of time to sell more tickets to Pompey fans if the next week games goes ahead OK.

I’m assuming they’re waiting for the Cheltenham game to go through before deciding on home and away allocations. We can always release more.

Belive they gave us reduced capacity last season when they were redeveloping their ground.

You have to remember that is paper talk and not from Rovers. We initially were allocated 1000 seats at their place because the stand was being modified but the managed to get it right in time and sent more through. Maybe Rovers will sell more if certain certificates are obtained

Ohh unless we really do just have 1 bomb blaster for all the Pompey ablutions 😁.

I note from watching the Liverpool vs Fulham game yesterday that the new stand at Anfield is not open yet. This despite practical completion being in August.

I’ve listed my East Stand seat season ticket on ticket exchange three times over the last two years but this match is the first time someone has actually bought it!
