Much love and respect to DC,great man and saviour of BRFC in our darkest hour. Chances will be converted today though in a 4-0 gas victory.

Can't see Cheltenham losing this one, will we have the want and bottle to determine otherwise?

Nervy game but if we can press for 90 minutes and not just 45 π AND take our chances β¦β¦. We might draw π - hope to see MT first win in a run of form.

I think the players will be keen to impress a new manager. However any wanting a move during the next transfer window may try to avoid injuries. 3-1 to Rovers.

Always difficult for me when we play DC because I don't want to see him beaten, and would like him to have a successful season and save Cheltenham. But with a new manager needing to get off to a good start this is more important than sentiment. So sorry DC, but 2-0 Gas.

Just another game & opposition that need tucking in for 3 precious points. Tricky conditions & an expectant crowd on his home debut for MT.
Gas 3 - 0 Cheltenham

Shame the wind could ruin the game a bit. Hopeful of a 2-1 win. Thomas and Evans on the scoresheet. Not looking forward to the drive today, the weather looks terrible. Drive back from Sidmouth to Taunton and on to West Wales on Thursday, weather conditions the worst I have ever driven in, in my 55 years of driving. Flooded roads, like rivers etc etc. Todays drive over should be a breeze! Hopefully?

Could be a frustrating game with the weather and all the recent upheavall. DC typically already doing a great job at Chelts too. Play like we did first half at Crawley and find our shooting boots and we should have too much. Predicting a 2-0 HT lead and early goal back from Chelts and then a painful 2nd half 2-1 gas Cox Hunt Taylor Wilson Vale Ward Finley Evans Thomas Martin Collins Time for you and all the haters to put the righteous nonsense to one side and put your big boy pants on, and back up all the rhetoric. For me Rovers must win all their home games and play a lot better than they did during that embarrassing second half performance on Tuesday night. With Tisdale 2 in charge and as the Gas normally take the mighty Cheltenham apart, Rovers to win 3-0 Utg

Dc football is now not pretty . they will play act, fall down at every opportunity, time waste. Tactic of hitting it as long as possible. Pointless having a 3 in midfield. Play 4 2 4 and may get something out of this.

Does anyone know if the Christmas Hamper collection is on? Was well publicised last year but I can't find a mention of it since a comment in the Bristol Post.

Has been mentioned other places. Not sure it is weather dependent?

I got to admit I've never felt like I felt about Rovers before or after DC's time. I don't think I'll ever enjoy supporting Rovers as much as I did during his tenure. I supported the bloke until the day he left and personally would never have sacked him although I understand why we did. I remember I stayed until after the final whistle to applaud him off when others were booing. I felt his time was probably up but didn't want it to be. We love you DC.

I'm not dreading this game. After the performance in midweek I think that MT would have a clearer indication of what needs to be done (maybe it was a blessing in disguise)
I'm predicting a Home Win today

DC was good but the enjoyment of the Francis years at Twerton coupled with my youth was my fav time - Only lived in Wick so nice and local and an early start in the local Twerton pubs
