I got to admit I've never felt like I felt about Rovers before or after DC's time. I don't think I'll ever enjoy supporting Rovers as much as I did during his tenure. I supported the bloke until the day he left and personally would never have sacked him although I understand why we did. I remember I stayed until after the final whistle to applaud him off when others were booing. I felt his time was probably up but didn't want it to be. We love you DC. DC was good but the enjoyment of the Francis years at Twerton coupled with my youth was my fav time - Only lived in Wick so nice and local and an early start in the local Twerton pubs I was barely born then. I think sometimes it is what age you are at that time in your life etc. Respect that the Francis years must have been enjoyable! |

You're right mate - I guess every generation looks back to the time when they first went independantly with their mates - And beating the Sh!t was amazing ! |

Way too many distractions for us at the moment and to top it all off we announce a new kit for the day- Madness!
Sadly an away win in my book 0-2 .. please hope I am wrong.
I just don’t see some of the players bought in to life after the Scouse … hopefully others will step up.
Not going today as totally fed up with pricks in the West Stand every game arriving late, after having had five or six pints getting up four five times in the game and then leaving early. Will watch on IFollow. Starting to sense match days will be more like this going forward for me.

You would play football in the park against good friends. Everyone wanted to win ,no quarter given.
You would still be friends after the game.
Today is no different.

Dc football is now not pretty . they will play act,fall down at every opportunity,time waste. How about we take matters into our own hands, and score the first goal of the game early on? They won`t be so inclined to waste time then. |

I want us to play well and steadily build a team that can mount a challenge towards the play offs. It’s certainly possible with over half the season to go. Win today and it builds confidence around the club. I’m not so worried about how many goals. A clean sheet, attractive football and a win will do. Bring it on.

My first experience of Rovers was a relegation season 79-80 I've witnessed Gerry Francis, Paul Trollope, Darrel Clarke and Joey Barton take us to Promotions. DC and GF are my two stand out managers at BRFC |
