You mean... 1..you dont want him 2...if nobody signs him as a perm deal then thats the best offer he will get to lower his wage bill.He would be a right plank to not accept that over payi g his full wage and him not playing anyway. Unfortunately there's no signs that MT is interested in signing him, you sense he's going to go for players he feels he can develop and the sell on, than sign players coming to the end of their careers. Sounds like a proper manager! Exactly what we should be looking to do, plenty of young talent out there, you need some experienced heads in any squad but as weβve found out, they are far more likely to pick up knocks MT is still in the process of turning us into a team that plays the way he wants. We werenβt built to play 3-5β2 Get some promising wing backs in and some steel in the middle, bit of pace up front and we will be a different team next season I get the feeling we may well be looking at an entirely new strike force beginning of next campaign, and am prepared for that to take time with the right players at the right cost UTG

Then it could be a long road before a promotion comes around. If we are building a side of players we can sell on. 5 years ? We're really nowhere near a promotion push with the present squad? I'm not even sure promotion is feasible until the Mem is redeveloped, or at least nearing completion, and we can then get the income from 16,000 fans as present top 6 seems to suggest that's what's required.

How many more times do we have to start again? I was finely thinking that with JB we had a Manager who will improve us each season. I am sure that with a few signings in january he would have given us a chance of the Play offs. Now we are out of both cups we had left and so say too far behind to get a Play off place. What a waste of a season where if the owners showed a bit of ambition we could catch up that gap by bringing in the right players.i have the feeling we will waste these next three home games through not bringing players in yet. Hope i am totally wrong.

There's now got to be some resetting just to get the club on an even keel, if that means missing out on a top 6 place this season then we'll just have to take it on the chin.

No we won't because we are not in the top 6. That is where we differ from the top teams in the division.

Until AC's deal is agreed I can't us making signings as that, hopefully, should be the key to unlock any signings we intend making, as it's pointless signing Smith or JCH if AC is still here when the window closes.
