Well worth making a long weekend of it as lots of great pubs, compact city centre with lots of history, and friendly locals.

Could be a decent payday for us if Norwich have a 25,000+ attendance, although they probably won't because no-one loves the Cup any more. Not so decent if tickets are between £1 & £12 (?).

There's something there somewhere in the canaries being put to sleep by the Gas...?

Is the game def on the 6th or could it be moved? Norwich confirmed today the game will be Saturday 6th Jan 3pm. No idea why Rovers haven't announced it. £12 for Adults and £1 for kids. Good news if that’s the same pricing for us, should mean a decent attendance & atmosphere, I see West Ham have done similar for their match with City, £10 adults & £1 under 18’s, for season tickets holders.

Treating Mrs Rodders to a long weekend away, drive up Friday and back on Monday. I might go as well. Looking forward to it! (Cue the arrival of deep snow over the first weekend of Jan). I actually tried to go to a game at Carrrow Road in the early 2000s as I was staying with family near there. Think it was against Brighton. Heavy snow as the players warmed up and the game got postponed. Obviously didn't go to the rearranged game. Still haven't ticked it off of my list of grounds visited since 😂

Always liked Carrow Road. How embarrassing? All the front rows seated fans get wet when it rains and posts in front of the goal. Awful

Not 100% but think I’m right in saying FA Cup ticket prices have to be agreed by the away team. I can’t remember the clubs involved but I’m sure an away side once rejected a Prem sides request for lower ticket prices - they wanted full prices as they would get 50% of the gate receipts. I guess you have to balance the value of cheap tickets and higher attendance versus expensive tickets and lower attendance !!

I can’t make my mind up on this one!
Long drive from Dorset, but my boy is desperate to go! He’s a sucker for punishment but loves visiting new grounds.
How many tickets will we get, and how many do you think we will take?

How many tickets will we get, and how many do you think we will take? Went a few years back & whilst it’s a long journey, it is a cracking ground as you would expect for a club spending many years in the premiership & well worth a visit. The ground is close to the main railway station & the Norwich fans we came across seemed a decent lot.

The ground is close to the main railway station & the Norwich fans we came across seemed a decent lot. I must admit I do enjoy a good away day My boy is now going on 15. He’s seen some highs and lows since his first game against Grimsby. Wembley a good first memory. Thank god for the woman in front who took pity on his tiredness and sat him beside her for extra time with a bucket of chocolate biscuits. He then wrote to Darrell Clarke in the promotion season after, bad DC wrote back and invited him and me into the changing room to meet the players. My boy drew a picture of all the players and got them to sign it. The whole changing room was in stitches at the Rory Gaffney drawing with his bright orange Barnet. He’s then seen the low of relegation, the home game against Scunthorpe which surely will never be beaten? He’s a great companion, and to be fair I’m not so sure I’ll be driving all over the country once he’s left home - it’s been our bonding So now he’s saying come on dad - it’s a new ground. It looks big on google. And we might get to round 4 and if you win that you are really in with a shout of getting back to Wembley…. It’s the hope that’ll kill him! See you all there. Gas invasion?
