Superb 1st Half.
Under the cosh a bit in the 2nd, but everybody dug in and were solid at the back.
Finley was immense today for 90 minutes. Definitely my MOM.

Despite the win we look a long way from a play off team. Bolton controlled the game even at 2 down and a player short.
Thier goal was an own goal.
Pretty sure the ball hit Vales arm in the wall and deflected to evans who crashed it into his own net.
Taylor the outstanding player again.

Goodnight Irene. Very few expected a win here. Some were even suggesting that they would be ecstatic with a draw. Not sure how they feel now but I am Jubilant. Elated. When the Gas go marching in, I want to be in that number. Professional stuff. Just wow. Enjoy the moment. We will have more of these. Not me, I always said this was the best L1 squad since the Holloway era!!! |

Obviously the players are on-board with the new boss,which hopefully is the start to a cracking few months,concluding with a play off final.

So after a successful cup game I’ll try my hand at a league one. I’ve just seen Madness at the O2 which was excellent. Hoping for less madness against Bolton who will provide a stern test for our boys. A nice 2-1 win (we never keep clean sheets) will do me nicely, with a winner from Connor Taylor. Interesting to see what team Taylor puts out. Will he experiment again or will we see a more settled side begin to appear? UTG on the money! Got to stay on the match threads son! |

Outstanding result happy days. Couldn’t understand why from the beginning of the second half up until they scored we stopped playing our quick tempo counter game which had served us so well in the first half and the Bolton goal was the kick up the bum we needed and went back to it after they scored and were dangerous again. Bolton are a very good side and I think they’ll be promoted this season and we matched them well albeit with a very different approach to theirs.. UTG Probably saving themselves for tonight's Xmas party thinking the game was won? |

Absolutely delighted, incredible away win. We’ve looked so much better going forward the past 2 games and since Bond has come back we’ve looked so much better at the back.
I feel like 9 points is probably a bit much to make up this year, but who knows. It’s nice to be excited again.
I sense a few sold out home games coming up. Can’t wait

Can’t wait Having both Taylor and Wilson playing together has definitely helped. Crama was decent as well in fairness . The two wide players Thomas and Vale put in a real shift today . |

If you want to get promoted beating the team who were in 2nd place at the start of the day is a great way to go about it. As for the red they went down to ten because Collins was through on goal. You make your own luck. |

We’ve made the play offs from this position at Christmas before, I’m not convinced we have a top 6 squad but you never know. |

Excellent away performance so far. Solid at the back and clinical in front of goal. Grant Ward and Finley have been outstanding. Aaron Collins is having his best game for a long time, the real Azza has turned up today. Got their lad sent off, assist for Evans and is causing them all sorts of problems. Matt Cox's distribution has been the only thing to criticise really, but maybe that'll be nitpicking. Keep it going Gas. Very impressed. I completely agree with this. First class performance all round. Matty Cox distribution let us down at times and I didn’t enjoy him flapping at those 5 corners in a row! Sam Finley magnificent yet again must be said. I seriously questioned how his enthusiasm would be after his mate AM & JB went. |

If you want to get promoted beating the team who were in 2nd place at the start of the day is a great way to go about it. As for the red they went down to ten because Collins was through on goal.
