Good business without spunking the summer budget, well done Gas! I take back my earlier meltdown comments.

Happy to see what these lads can offer, little disappointed we couldn't get Sam Smith though

3 loans that we have no chance of getting on permanent not going to help for next season Disappointed, I’d rather we brought through youth players of our own to try, ala Jed Ward, than go down the way of Yeovil, look where they are now.

Would have liked a striker this window, especially with the departure of Azza today (even if he hasn’t been great of late) but a winger, an attacking midfielder/play maker and a CB isn’t a bad days business on paper.

Taylors not afraid of doing this if they’re good enough. Look, I’ll get told off for this post but I don’t care, the previous ownership let a manager who had no interest in the long term future of the club basically rip the academies budget apart to spend more on his first team budget. The kids we’ve got probably aren’t good enough bar maybe one or two. It’s going to take a lot of time to sort the mess left behind by the scouse mafia and hopefully in a couple of years time we will be in a position to do what we all want and bring through our own again.

Developing younger players for other clubs benefit, again. I don’t mind 3/4 loans within a squad but this is like Yeovil level. I hope they prove me wrong & we see long term success borrowing other clubs players. I see these signings as just getting us to the end of the season without blowing the Collins money for the sake of it.

We haven’t signed a striker. Aguilera is an attacking mid. Same lark if he knows where the net is😎 …or they allow Evans and Macca to play further forward where they could be more effective. Just a thought.

A 6”5 left footed CB A versatile midfielder/forward A highly rated young striker from the Prem Well happy with that. We will have to see. But the 6"5 CB haven't played a leauge game this season. The young striker from the prem just 1 . And the midfielder seems the best with 8. To me it seems like we are just moving around loans in and out. Personally a poor window and hope Martin stays fit !.

So in the window we’ve added 1 perm, 3 loans, and tied down CM.
Decent shift that, just wish people would appreciate getting a Striker in jan isn’t as easy as buying a pint down the local ffs.
We needed freshening up so can all look forward to the rest of the season. UTG.

One big sticking plaster to get us through the season ….
Plus a clear out of players ( Not AC) who have collectively added very little this season.
Probably enough for a mid table finish so if the owners think that is progress then Well Done to them!

But no doubt our front line is weaker than 31st December. If Martin gets injured, what happens? We couldn’t even find a striker on loan? I sincerely hope the loans add some flair and attacking prowess for our strikers.
