The owners haven't been involved for a year have they? I thought they only became involved over the summer? They relied on Jennings (or what ever his name was) and offerings from agents at a fee. This is how Barton worked so a proper recruitment process not possible until they could rid themselves of Barton. Agree they now have the opportunity to sort things out in conjunction with new management team. |

Agree they now have the opportunity to sort things out in conjunction with new management team. We paid no more in agents fees under JB than we did under previous managers? I can't see relying upon agents can be leveled at JB, regardless he put together a decent squad which according to KB "only needs 1 or 2 additions to put us where we want to be" which I assume is in the top 6 come May. |

I think this summer's window could be extremely exciting if we can get through to play Liverpool at anfield. Gate receipts and TV money could net us approaching a million I'd guess. So so important we get through. But if people so say ITK were saying our losses were around £3 million before Joey and his entourage went, then any potential cup monies are still going to mean we lose somewhere in the the region of £3 million? Delays to the stand won't of helped and from on here you get the impression the new owners don't want to chuck money for the sake of it. MT has probably shelved £10k a week in wages with Woods, Belly and Bogarde and has said about investing in youth. I think shrewd free transfers in the summer - for players who can represent value for money by playing 30+ games a season is the new plan. Don’t have to be ITK, its in the accounts |

The owners should put their cash in a nice little deposit account before interest rates drop too low. Far more important to get a financial return than win football matches!!!

There is no money available …. Owners too busy purging the off field shambles and looking to Improve things there. Now play offs are probably a dream it will be all about playing through the season and then yet another mass clear out. I think Taylor brings in one permanent cheap as chips midfielder and two loanees. What the positions will be are known only to him. |

They are the blockers to any money being spent in this window - My confidence in our Senior Leadership team really is nearly as low as it was with Higgs !

Short pockets, short arms. I've never been a fan of Wael and I see the new owner being a new Wael which fills me with zero confidence looking ahead. Waels had 10 years here and has done nothing on and off the field and before people say he's cleared our clubs debt I can't be sure he has? New owner was brought in to invest money but I'm worried that he will follow Waels path and we probably won't be any further improved as a club in another 10 years. |
